And Bynum isn't showing that hes an immature dumbass with his actions on and off the court? I'm really starting to get pissed off at Drew for acting like a complete idiot.
He's got a dumbass of a head coach that nobody on this team respects
lol are we blaming Coach Brown for Andrew Bynum putting playboys on his shoulder while recouping from an ACL tear while under Phil? How about for parking in a handicap spot while under Phil? And knocking out JJ Barea just last postseason, and again, under Phil...
Look, Im not the biggest fan of Brown but wtf are we blaming him for? Defensively, up until the Sessions acquisition we've been pretty damn good (lately...meh...and I don't really know why, I want to blame effort on the players part but it could be a number of other things Im just not recognizing)...and offensively my understanding is he hands that off to Coach Keuster anyways who is very well respected in the league as a good offensive coach. So what the hell can I get mad at Brown for? For not having gotten a back-up 2 guard this offseason (I HATE the Sessions/Blake backcourts and putting Barnes at the 2 spot isn't very good to see either)? For not having a solid 1 until the Sessions deal? For not throwing players under the bus during press conferences and interviews (as Phil loved to do, see LO and Bynum)? His rotations were sloppy for the first couple months of the year but it seems like hes got a solid one going now and I'm content with it...
I just don't get the hate Laker fans are sending Coach Brown's direction.
Are you kidding me? The dumbass makes horrible substitutions leaving dogs**t lineups on the floor. Kobe ends up sitting for way too long, for example the other night against the Clips he's 7/10 in the 1st and Brown doesn't put him back in until the 5 min. mark
He has no control over this team and the players definitely don't respect him. He was a horrible hire by the front office
So his rotations bug you? I mentioned at the beginning of the year it was a little rusty but since then at least he's being consistent. Or maybe that's exactly whats the problem. That he chooses to give Kobe 5 minutes of rest in the 2nd Q (he's trying to stay consistent with his rotations, which if anything, I applaud him for) rather than taking that 5 minutes from him elsewhere is not something I have a problem with. Neither is the fact that Kobe could use any cut in minutes that Brown can figure out for him. It sounds like the players respect him. Ive heard no rumors of a mutiny or that he's "lost the locker room" or anything like that. His players all seem to say the right things and haven't said anything in an interview or press conference thats made me say, "oh s**t, shots fired at Coach" outside of a couple outlandish things Bynums said.
I can't blame his subs when the only true problems I have with his subs is that he plays our big 3 too much and he doesn't have a legitimate back-up 2 guard (which is what causes the weird rotations of Barnes or Blake at the 2 spot). Our bench just isn't good enough to allow the big 3 any more rest than what they're currently getting. Hell, I'm even pleased with how quickly he started giving 30+ minutes to Sessions and closing and starting with him too. I've got no complaints that I can honestly say fall on his shoulders outside of the offense which I can't help but say we had that coming and that Keuster should shoulder the majority of that blame.
