They made it look like it's a trade just to appease the Leafs.So rather than losing Marner for nothing so they got Roy.Yeah, I get the extra year rather than 7 years but people still question how quick the contract was agreed 🤔

Yeah, for sure. Here's a question for you? Is the Rantanen trade worth it after losing all the depth from Stankoven, Granlund, Marchment and possibly Robertson to reshape the roster? I know too early to say at this time.

Marchment sucks, I've wanted him off the team. Granlund did very little, short term rental because we weren't sure about Seguin

seems like it's Rantanen plus Duchene vs Robo/Stank.

the first is to win now. The second is to win in 4-5 years

edit: my guess is we trade Dumba or Lybushkin, keep Robo for a year. Will have to trade his rights after the year

He's a good guy that is a low tier 2nd line player

can get you 50 pts but is not going to drive any offense. Non factor defensively

Cheating? Lol Stars cheated their best goalie from playing in a must win game. Like that was going to work out. f**ked themselves over. Pretty sure last time Stone was on LTIR was when he got the lacerated spleen injury 2024. Was out like a month or so.

I guess it's part of the grieving process..whine about Vegas.
