we spent 8 mil Euros for a keeper how is TRASH

shoulda spent two mil more to get Ochoa.

Tell me about it. This new goalie Roberto that played for Atletico Madrid last season is TRASH. His mistakes already put us in a 0-2 hole.

you mean atletico's goalie who didnt even see the field last year?

Atletico have De Gea and Asenjo. Two top class goalies. As far as im concerned I only saw those two take the field last season.

And to think...we could have signed Eduardo.

is Eduardo the goalie who played for Portugal this last WC? If so...you guys should have. Dude was a beast. Only the best team in the world managed to get a ball past him.

Yup thats the guy. Genoa bought him for the same price as Roberto. Looks like they are aiming for 3rd in the Serie A after goin after Luca Toni and Miguel Veloso so they can get into the Champions league next season.

Genoa will NOT qualify to CL. you heard it here first. The four CL spots will belong to Juve, Milan, Roma, and Inter.

I like Benficas draw. Gonna be tough but I think we can advance to the group stage. So excited

I'm also anxious to see how Braga is going to play also. I think teams will underestimate them and wonder how they got down by 2 goals.

Barca has finally landed Mascherano - which is a really big signing for them. Terms have been agreed among the clubs (reported by official websites of both teams) and the trade is pending physical.

Reports (rumors) are Milan is offering Barca 40 mil to buy Ibra. Ibra doesn't fit Barca and Barca should consider themselves lucky to get that much after the kind of season Ibra had. He is better fit in Serie A or EPL.

I hope Barca goes out and gets Robinho.

I like Benficas, but not so sure about Braga. Braga is in an easy group - so they could make it out of it.

Funny how Barca just keeps buying and buying without any money. Mascherano's a better fit than Fabregas, I think - gives them more bite in the midfield.

Hopefully Ibra leaves. He was a bad buy from the start.

Ya they buy new players but they can't even afford to pay their wages.

Masch is OK but maybe no the best fit there, they need someone with a better touch to play their posession game. He is a great ball winner but a foul machine too, my friends that are Liverpool fans are glad to see him off. He is going to help though against the good attacking teams like Madrid, Valencia, etc. but I expect he'll split time with Busquets who is more technically skilled.

With Ibra about to leave to Milan, Barca will have more than enough cash. Reported deal is of $40 million and with Ibra making 12 million a season - Barca will suddenly have 52 million in their bank.

Mascherano is a GREAT fit at Barca. Lot of Liverpool fans didn't want him to leave just a week ago before he told the team that he won't play for them. Now, they are all saying he fouled too much and blah blah blah. Mascherano will make Barca very strong on defense and I don't think there is another team that can match them on offense.

The only small weakness I see Barca have is their LB - Dani Alves. He is inconsistent, and they don't have a high quality back-up there either. But, we can be sure of one thing - Barca is not going to allow many goals through the middle.
