I think we will do well in this cup. into the Elite Eight is not out of the question, only thing that worries me our defense, but we would only have to worry about that vs England.

Im really only worried about Rooney, hes a wild card. I think we can score against the England defense.

Looks like Tim Howard will be ok, after the boots the chest play. Players took the day off today. Huge game vs Slovania. If we win its almost locked that will go to the next round.

Most definitely, but I'm not sure how I would take the first game from Slovenia...


1. Were they just nervous and played tight?

2. Were they evenly matched with the Algerians?

3. Will their win give them the confidence to go hard against us?

and, most importantly to me...

4. Are we healthy enough after our hard-fought match against England to thoroughly defeat a confident squad?

B/c anything less than a 2 goal win would be a loss in my mind since England is going to tear apart Algeria and we may need the goal differential...after yesterday, I don't think there's any team who wants to face Germany right now

Well, a 2-2 tie after being down 2-0 at half isn't horrible, but being robbed the win leaves a pain in my chest...may need medical attention (or at least replay in futbol ), but now there's just one thing to say...

Just got done with the replay. Good job coming back from 2-0, but they never should have been down like that. Getting robbed of that 3 goal was an absolute joke. What a f**king travesty.

Not only a bad call on the disallowed goal, there should have been a red-card for the foul on Altidore. It looked to me as if he was in, last man takes him down. Straight red in every other game I've seen.

Is there a vid of it? I missed the whole game and only saw the 4 goals. Stupid univision didn't show anything else.
