No disrespect at all toward Algeria....but why does every single player on that team look like they just stepped out of a gay bar? Really, they all look like pole smokers!!!!

Devil's Advocate Time

If, and I mean if hell freezes over and a white guy wins a dunk contest in the NBA, England loses, is that a good thing for the US or is it bad?

Pro:
- England basically eliminated
- Only have to beat Algeria to advance

Con:
- Gives confidence to Algeria to advance
- Home-field advantage to Algeria

Thoughts?

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

The BEST case scenerio for USA is for this game to end 0-0, and then

Slovenia 4pts, +1GD (1st tie breaker), 3 GS (2nd tie breaker)
USA 2pts, 0GD, 3GS
England 2pts, 0GD, 1GS
Algeria, 1pt, -1GD, 0GS

if that were too happen, just a 1-0 win over Algeria would get USA into the 2nd round. They would have 5pts, +1, 4GS at worst, and no scenario in the England/Slovenia would keep them from advancing.

Don't get me wrong, those things are still ever-present and annoying as f*ck, but I swear I hear a vocal roar for a second.

Im actually pulling for Algeria.

Nothing against England though, if they win thats cool too. Its just cmon, Algeria is playing with heart.

yeah, after South Africa lost theyve sorta cooled it a bit. During the Mexico France match you could hear the crowd. during this game too.

I think its because there is a overwhelming amount of English fans in the stadium.
