All TIME NBA MOCK DRAFT

If Scottie Pippen is the Yin, then Anthony Mason is defenitly the Yang.

A muscular version, but a very good playmaker and facilitator, and a total enforcer

He was one of the NY Knicks most rugged players from the 90's, and once traded to Charlotte, blossemed into an all around player earning an All NBA nod and all star game. That year averaged 53% shooting 75% FT 16.7 PPG, 11.3 RPB, 5.7 APG, 1 SPG, 1 BPG....I shall use that year off the bench

For the record, he never averaged a block a game. 1/2 a block per game was his tops. Great pick, though.

I'm taking Maurice Stokes. What a depressing story.

http://espn.go.com/classic/biography/s/stokes_maurice.html

NBA Rookie of the Year in 1955-1956.
2nd team All-NBA for all 3 years in league.
Permanently paralyzed after hitting his head in his last game at the end of the 1957-1958 season.

Quote:

Stokes made an immediate impact, getting 32 points, 20 rebounds and eight assists in his NBA debut. He went on to average 16.8 points in 1955-56 and a league-best 16.3 rebounds, snatching a franchise-record 38 in one game, and was voted the NBA's Rookie of the Year

Quote:
"The first great, athletic power forward," Bob Cousy said years later. "He was Karl Malone with more finesse."

Quote:
"Maurice Stokes was a moose of a man, the first star the franchise had. At six feet seven and 250 pounds, he was stronger and a better shooter than Elgin Baylor."
--Oscar Robertson

BIRDMAN!
Not too many HOFers are gonna fall to you at this stage, but I'm gonna take one.

The Nets select...

Calvin Murphy!

Very quick, Murphy was an excellent outside shot and an outstanding free throw shooter. Murphy averaged 20.4 points a game in 1973-74, the first of five seasons in which his average was above 20 points. His finest season was 1977-78, when he averaged 25.6 points a game. Murphy led the NBA in free throw shooting percentage with .958 in 1980-81, an NBA record, and .920 in 1982-83, his last season as a player. He was inducted into the Hall in 1993.

His career free throw percentage of .892 is second only to Rick Barry in NBA history. In 1,002 regular season games, Murphy scored 17,949 points, an average of 17.9 per game, and had 4,402 assists and 1,165 steals.

Though relatively small in stature (5'9", 165), Murphy was a SCORER...I mean, come on...the dude has 14 kids by 9 different women. PROFILIC!!

(My squad is STACKED with P***y Bandits!!!!!)
