Lebron going to New York would be stupid. He'd have to start over to win there.

David Lee and Danilo Gallinari won't win a him a ring.

How much better off is Cleveland minus LeBron than NYK?

Better yes, but nothing the Knicks couldn't reach in short time.

Mo Williams-Varejao-Shaq-A.Parker-Ilgauskas
Duhon-David Lee-Gallinari-W.Chandler-Hughes

You could pretty much plug LeBron in anywhere and that team is ready to roll.

Cavs players are much better defensively and Mo Williams is better than any guard on the Knicks roster.

Mo Williams might be better than any player on the Knicks, but that's not saying a whole lot. You put LeBron on that team and they could attract just about any free agent.

And David Lee and Chandler are solid/good defenders. Duhon holds his own. Hughes is washed up, but he used to rack up the steals. Again, LeBron would make them all look better.

LeBron's never made any player look better, IMO. He has the ball in his hands so much and isn't very good off of the ball, so the only guys that do well next to him are spot up shooters or hustle/defensive guys. Players have to fit LeBron, not vice versa. This is one of the main reasons I think that Kobe's still the better player.

While I agree Kobe is a better player than LeBron I could have sworn during last season you had said LeBron was now the better player but I could be wrong or confusing you with someone else.

You didnt think he was the real deal when he carried Syracuse to a title as a freshman?

Wilt at 58 really close though! Jennings did break Kareem's team record of 51 though.

Hopefully the ridiculous 72 win crap will stop now. Unless they get in a time machine so KG can get his athleticism back, they're not getting anywhere close.

During the first half of the regular season, I did. Turns out, Kobe was asked to "dial it down" at the beginning of the year last year by the coaching staff because of his commitment to the Olympic team. Since he didn't play this past summer, there's no such restriction this year.

By the end of the year last year, it was apparent that Kobe was still the best player in the game, at least IMO.

LeBron will put up better numbers, simply because he has the ball in his hands for the vast majority of a possession. The same isn't true for Kobe.
Quote:
Byron Russell has organized a pay-per-view event in Las Vegas that would match him up against Michael Jordan, but he hasn't had his phone calls returned by his possible opponent.

"I think he's afraid to play me," Russell said. "I know he has an image, but I don't think this game would hurt it. Who can hurt Mike's image? I don't think I can. I was happy when I called him out of retirement and he came back, and I want to see him do it again. I hope he takes me seriously because I'm taking him seriously. I know I'm not going to lose. I would whup his ass."
