Is anyone else p*ssed to see Gio Gonzalez up right now? Why can't the A's just let their young guys go down to AAA and work out their issues there with the certainity of their role. First it was Gallagher,a dn now their going to do the same thing to Gonzalez? Just let them settle down and develop god@mnit.

You could always convert to being a Giants fan if rooting for the A's becomes too unbearable!
Of course.. you have to love 1-0 games.

How many world series wins do you have again? Oh that's right.

LOL.. Yes.. I use that one with people when I talk about the Niners. It is hard to live 20 years in the past however. I think the Giants are closer now but you will convert anyway when the A's are in another city far far away.

By that logic does that mean that I'd stop being a Niner fan when I move far away?? NEVER!!! NEVER WILL I BECOME A GIANTS FAN NEVER EVER EVER"

I live in LA and trust me.. if the Niners moved here I would no longer be a fan of the team. I hear you about changing allegience. I would rather never watch another baseball game the rest of my life than ever become an A's or Dodger fan.

Why not? It's still the same team? Maybe it would be different if I went to lots of Niner games, but for me location doesn't really matter that much. Unless they were to move all teh way across country, that would be a little weird.

I just go back to far with the Bay Area roots. I moved to LA because of a job but I really do hate all LA teams. It would just be impossible for me to root for them if they were the Los Angeles 49ers. UGH! I hate even saying that!
Sorry guys.. didnt mean to talk Niners in your A's thread.

Yuck. You're right that would be awful. I don't really feel the same way about the San Jose A's though.
