Thanks crzy. I agree, I really don't want Monta to play a lot of PG either. What we need is a big PG who can guard the 2. I just want Nellie to LEAVE. I don't know if Brandon Jennings can guard the 2. What do you think about that? How do you see Brandon Jennings and Monta play together? I haven't seen him play at all, but looked up that he has great athleticism and quickness.

^^ Jennings and Monta together would be such an explosive backcourt but would be a handicap on defense...

Might be the BPA if Tyreke Evans is gone.

This is a weak draft. We can't worry about "fit" or "need".
If Brandon Jennings is the best player available, we'd better take him.
Just collect as much talent as possible, and eventually we can package that talent for a star player.

You couldn't play them on the court at the same time. All three of the them play the same position. And none of them are true centers.
But you'd have great trade bait.

sure we could, jefferson was playing center last year, with k love and power forward griffin would be our 3, i dont think grifiin is the 6-10 he is listed at, but you are right about trade bait, i wonder what we could get cuz we need a solid pg

Al Jefferson played center, but he isn't a true center. And defensively, he's a liability.
And Blake Griffin cannot play the 3.
And Blake Griffin cannot play the 3.

Curry to the Knicks?
Quote:
A rumor that has been gaining steam is that the Knicks will select Stephen Curry with their 8th pick. We've received word that there could be truth to this from inside sources claiming that Curry chose to put his name into the draft this year based on the Knicks assuring Curry that they would use their lottery selection to draft him.
Obviously a lot could happen between now and the draft. The Knicks could always win the lottery (they're not using a top 3 pick on him) or trade their pick.
But it appears to be a legitimate possibility that if the Knicks have the 8th pick on draft night they will use it on Curry. Curry's game would fit extremely well in Mike D'Antoni's wide open style and his scoring ability would be enhanced.
Curry at 8 is a huge reach, IMO.

^And in D'Antoni's offense, he'll probably put up big numbers and people will think that he's better than he actually is.

That's the last thing the Knicks need.

I don't think he has the quickness or explosiveness to be anything more than a spot-up shooter in the NBA.
