Pettitte: This Is Best Yankee Rotation I've Been In

Boston Globe - Andy Pettitte believes this is the best five-man rotation he has been a part of during his many years with the Yankees.

"Yeah, definitely. Obviously, with CC [Sabathia] and A.J. [Burnett], it's looking like a rotation that's a huge improvement over last year. If we all stay healthy and our bullpen stays healthy, we look strong on paper, but you have to play the games," Pettitte said.

"Boston is so strong. Tampa is so strong. Baltimore is getting better. It's a tough division."

They might look good on paper, but when they crash and burn.....and they will....none of it will matter

Report: A-Rod Could Rejoin Yanks By End Of April

ESPN - Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is progressing well in his rehabilitation from hip surgery and could rejoin the team by the end of April.

The original prognosis after Rodriguez's March 9th surgery was that he would return to the Yankees in mid-May.

Hitting coach Kevin Long told the New York Post that Rodriguez has begun to hit and "feels 70 percent."

He's always been bloated and out of shape.

Jays fans here, but watched the last two Yankee games on YES...

Tell ya what, I really like your Nick Swisher. He really comes across as a guy who just loves and is thankful for the game, plays hard, produces when given the opportunity and even makes ME feel young watching him play. I think you've got a good one there.

I've got an autographed game-used bat from Nick Swisher. Too bad his signature looks nothing like his actual name, but it's still my sweetest baseball memorabilia item.
