Winning records, both in the past and in the near-term future, are tainted by the rampant steroid abuse prolifigated within the Yankee organization.

They're the only team that has had a lot of names released so thats not even relevant in my opinion.

Well, your opinion is wrong. This report covers ALL of the names released in the Mitchell Report, and the Yankees by far have the most players implicated and associated with steroids.

Then where are the rest of the names? Most of the guys listed in that link weren't even good players that people know about. Plus Mitchell's report doesn't list every steroid user in the MLB during that time. I highly doubt 104 players were the only players using during that time.

Read the article. This deals with players implicated. It doesn't have anything to do with the drug tests allowed by the union that showed 104 players with a positive test. Those names, except for A-Roid are still secret.

The Yankees have had 26 former/current players implicated in the steroid era, more than any other team. When you couple that with the management connection outlined in the post above, the Yankees are far and away the "face" of baseball's excess in the steroid era, and it taints everything they have done over the past 10 years. With the cloud of A-Roid and Pettit still on this team, one wonders how they can be taken seriously at this time.

The baseball team you root for blows. I can say that cause I'm a Yankee fan.

Why not monitor your team? Must be a boring team to watch, huh?
A-Roid to see specialist regarding ailing hip...

The confirmed steroid abuser may be facing what experts call "roid withdrawal" as his use became public knowledge. It is a known medical fact that steroid users who abruptly end their cycles will experience increased intro-muscular and bone injuries.

I've always been a Yankee fan, ever since I was a kid. I took a trip to NYC a few years ago...rode the subway out to the Bronx just to see Yankee stadium even though they were out of town. I've got a picture of myself touching the outside wall. I went to the Yankees gift shop...bought a hat for myself and a sweatshirt for my wife.

The Yankees of the past 10 years disgust me. They have a decimated farm system, a store bought team, a new stadium paid for by taxpayers who can barely afford the outrageous ticket prices, and corrupt management that has resulted in steroid abusers like Rodriguez, Giambi, Pettitt, and Clemens to stain the great Yankee legacy.

So, I will dog them, and fans who are so blind that they can't be somewhat objective to admit what this greatest of franchises has become.

Nothing against you, but you have tunnel vision. Take the blinders off.

lol, but why all the negativity? I'm just hoping for another World Series ring just like the rest of the Yankee fans. I'm just hoping that this "new way of things" just pays off.
A-Roid suffering a serious hip injury and could miss significant time this year...

The admitted steroid abuser faces questioning about whether his torn labrum may be related to the injury masking/recovery effect of performance enhancing drugs. While doctors interviewed have said it is "unlikely", they cannot rule out that A-Roid's steroid abuse masked prior injuries that are now coming to light.
LOL, I just read that list of Yankees that were implicated. "Hal Morris, who played for the Yankees for 27 seconds in 1989, was accused of buying steroids from someone while playing for the Reds 10 years later. He denies this claim."
