AB...I've stated this before and I'll do so again....the Niners should hire you. Your understanding of the cap is simply incredible. We Zoners are lucky to have you, man.... Keep up the great work...

Cheers!

That's a lot of cheddar. I wonder what we'll do with it? Extend Warner? It seems it would be a waste to let that much cap space go unused.

If they bring back K'waun and sign an edge rusher like Aldon, Hyder or Dunlap, they can pretty much go BPA in the draft.
They should save 1m when Richburg retires, and they can also extend Laken. Most likely will extend Fred by training camp.

The prospects I like are Lance, Slater, Vera-Tucker, Jaelan Phillips, Kyle Pitts.

If Aldon Smith came back though 😳😳

Does Aldon fit the scheme? I just wonder if Kyle & John will want to bring him in, I'm for it, if he has proven to be clean, sober, etc.. He f**ked up, he would have been the highest paid defender before he was released.

And what many people don't remember if like with Foster, Aldon had red flags coming out of Missouri in 2011. Both would have been highest paid at their positions if not for dumbass off the field choices. At least Aldon is turning his life around, not sure what Foster is up to, never trust Nick Saban, I think John & Kyle have learned that.

Foster wasn't going to be the highest paid player at his position. Lol

IMO, Foster had the talent to be the highest or one of the highest paid ILBs in the NFL.

Could free up another $9M by restructuring Tomlinson and Ward.

I'd shy away from redoing Ward's deal, it'd make it impossible to cut him next year if he doesn't do well. As for Laken, I'd be for a short extension, could save as much as $2.74M.

It won't go unused, if it's not spent in 2021, it'll be carried over into 2022, and yes Warner will be extended, he's the only big name FA we have outside of the likes of Verrett, Jones, maybe Tartt, McGlinchey, and Laken. Not nearly as bad as 2021 FAs, which people thought we'd lose most of them, yet only Bourne, Ahkello, & Solly have signed deals elsewhere.
so whats our cap looking like after the two safeties signed?

Unsure right now, I can't imagine Tartt got more than $3.5M and Wilson $2.5M on 1yr deals.

dang, even the cap god doesnt know... lol let me know if possible when you do find out
Bring back K'Wuan & Hyder...that'd really set things up well for the draft. So many directions Lynch could go to strengthen the team.

s**t SF can grab Bouye and Kerrigan....have cash for their rookies and money left over for in season moves.

Hayward is my top cb and Ingram at DE if he's affordable with possibly some injury stipulations in his contract to lessen the risk. I'd love either combo and we can keep them both next year with the increase in cap space if we wanted. Sign them "pretty please, with a cherry on top....clean the f**kin car"

I didn't realize AJ Bouye was still out there. I feel like he would be a good FA pickup. Experienced starter, and a good option if we don't resign K'wan.
Started with the 8th most cap space. Now have the 9th and that's WITH a QB, LT and ER paid for. I don't think realize how nuts that is. How healthy that is.
