He's not wrong.

Plus the draft hasn't happened yet, can easily add 3 or 4 starters. Through the draft. And there are still quality gree agents ou there

Plus healthy guys. That is a huge upgrade over last season. Healthy Bosa is worth 3 to 5 wins alone. Center has been the biggest issue on the line since harbs so that is huge as well.

Agree. Mack upgrades 3 positions. Stability at C in this offense seems to allow the same guards to perform a lot better.

Get Grant's trash out of here. Dude is the Sus/CC/Pdizo of Niners media lol

He's not wrong.

He exists in a multi-layered state of wrongness well beyond the event horizon. Any rightness with him means one didn't convert from standard to metric when doing calculations.

He is only correct when he is wrong twice on the same thing

I literally can't stand Grant Cohn, I refuse to follow him, he came at me with past tweets where I was all in for Earl Thomas, I made a mistake when I wanted him and saying to pay whatever it took, dude is just a troll who somehow got a gig as a beat writer, probably cause of his Daddy. He's just a joke, just like Matt Miller.
do we have to make a decision on MM 5th year this year?

Yes, May 3rd, luckily that's after the draft, only 2 days, but still after the draft, one year they had the draft in May, teams had to decide before the draft, may have been for the 2011 class.

Don't waste time with that clown Grant.
They were able to keep their top 3 FA in Trent, Juice and Verrett. Plus some depth guys like Eman, Brunskill, Dwelley.
A washed up Alex Mack is better than any C this team has had since 2012. Better than Kilgore, Marcus Martin, Richburg, Garland, Brunskill.
Bourne and Spoon won't be missed.
Ebukam is replacing Ronald Blair. Unlike Ronnie, Ebukam stays healthy.
He was saying "Jimmy G and Trent W are taking 50m of cap space" so he's assuming Trent cap hit is 23m for 2021.

I have a hack for anybody who wants to filter out Grant Cohn. Whenever you make a 49ers search on youtube, use 49ers -grant. The '-' is a google operator to filter out content you don't want to see. You can use -grant -cohn. Doesn't 100% work since that stupid idiot content still appears, you can just ignore.
Could we open a petition for the WZ admins to ban every Grant Cohn content? I hate seeing his idiotic tweets and the links for his articles polluting this site.

I'm on the draft Slater and trade MM to the Raiders wagon. The Trent Brown treatment.

Still, truth is the truth.

Its not even the same team. There are a lot of spots still TBD.

Williams and Mack gets us back to basics. AZ just got better.

We're going to need more than what we have at EDGE. Project. Bosa to be 80% of what he was. Ebukham or whatever isn't enough as I read what Ram fans are saying (just as I see our Spoon analysis on his way to the Hawks).

Ward is still injury-prone and so is Verrett.
Moseley is our most durable/reliable player who will see AJ Green and Hopkins x2 a year. No question Edge is a priority.

The WR room still has River Craft in it. Deebo has never played a full season. Aiyuk is coming on strong but Bournes reliability will be missed. Still need a burner to give Kittle some room.

Mack is prob a 2-year deal so save a mid round pick for C or G.

IMHO, keeping Verrett and Juice was tablestakes as neither had a huge market outside of the Niners. No one was going to pay Juice what we were going to.

We're in decent hands, I just don't think we should be done in FA and we've done well at maintenance, possibly getting us a little closer to what we had in 2019, but I'd say don't fall into the psychology of cap scarcity. I don't even read when Lynch says "if we can afford it." Lol. Never forget we were told the team couldn't afford Buck and Armstead yet we're afford Armstead and Trent who's way way way way more expensive than Buck.

If we are not done yet.... bye bye jimmy. Need more money
