Yup, trade Jimmy to the Pats for pick 46, then trade McGlinchey+Ward for Darnold. Draft Slater at 12, let him and Brunskill battle for the RT and RG jobs, then with 43 draft Moehrig to play SS with Moore sliding back to FS, then with 46 draft the best EDGE available like Tryon, Turner, or Perkins. Then the rest of the draft we can go BPA, also with making those trades PRE DRAFT, we would be opening up lots of money to keep T. Williams+Juice+Hyder+Verrett, while extending Warner.

Who would play qb?

Me I was a pretty good QB and CB/FS in high school.

S**t, every team will be able to resign their marquee FA's. Some teams can be stacked if they draft right

Well violence does sell. I know I miss the old slobberknocking days of the NFL vs the flag football version they play now.

I think the NFL is making some headway in attracting new audiences- specially outside USA. So it makes sense that television will pay more for NFL games. Its a global market now.

Yikes! I thought it was *next year* wow! If so, no wonder television corps are willing to pay more. They just added one more game and more advertising day and weekend spots. Rich get richer. Players get richer. Fans pay more.

Sold!
Yea I just heard 182.5 on ESPN
This will be fascinating to see how they'll all do it too and stay competitive.

Essentially 4 teams need to cut one elite players salaries or two quality starters. It looks like a ton but it's really not that many moves. Saints have the most work esp. with restructures.

You don't think agents won't know the cap has expanded and demand more for their players? They will just say that player A was making 6% of the cap and now wants to make 7% of the cap.

I love that all those teams are NFC teams + the Chiefs. Gotta give the 49ers credit even with Ford and richburg screwing us we have money to spend

So much for someone in here telling me (repeatedly) that there was no way the NFL/NFLPA were going let the cap get this low 😬
