Are they expanding the rosters for the 17 game schedule?
Are they back to 6 teams per conf for the playoffs?
Still a 7 team playoff format per conference snd a 17 game season is all but guaranteed. I wish the players got an extra bye week. Might help in keeping players healthier

I am confused about the 17 game schedule. How is some teams playing 1 more home game than others fair? Wouldn't an 18 game schedule make more sense?

I read that the extra game could be played at a neutral site, but those sites should be already scheduled, so that no logistic issues will incur

ESPN's Field Yates tweeted out each teams adjustments/carryover amounts for 2021,
49ers come in at $13,263,022, If the cap is $185M, I have them at $27,921,392 in cap room, according to OTC, the 49ers have the, ready for it, 9th most cap room, in the NFL. So much for cap hell LOL, never were in cap hell anyway.

The NFL has finalized its club adjustments/carryover for the 2021 league year. The amount for each team is added to league wide salary cap and serves as each team's adjusted cap #.

E.g.: if the cap is set at $180M, the Browns will have a league-high adjusted cap of $209,409,691. pic.twitter.com/m7Shr9eX01

So you're telling me this team had the cap room to pay Buckner?

No, it doesn't mean that, we were never paying Buck $21M a yr, people need to get over it. If we paid Buck, we may not have been able to pay Kittle, plus be able to retain Trent, and extend Warner & others down the road like Bosa.

Sorry I'm a little slow on the uptake. I thought we would have 18 mil vs 13 mil if the cap goes up 5 mil from 180 to 185

Each year NFL teams have carryover, which most fans know about, which is just $1.9M for the 49ers, but also teams get adjustments, usually credits aka extra cap room, some teams end up with a negative amount, like the Bucs, due to incentives being reached that weren't counting against the cap. So the 49ers got an extra $11.34M from credits(incentives, per game RBs, base salary guarantees pay backs, etc...) If the cap is $185M, the 49ers adjusted cap would be $198,263,022, if the cap is the lowest $180M, then they'll have $193,263,022, which means they can spend that much on players between cap numbers and dead money.
The 49ers have $193.39M in committed salaries for 2021, but only the top 51 salaries, plus dead money & players 52-90s bonuses, so they have $170.341M committed. So they're between $27.921M to $23.921M under the cap right now, depending on what the cap is set at.

My personal feeling is we re-sign Trent, Juice, Hyder, probably Verrett, K'Waun is 50/50, I can see him going to the Jets, he's a NY/NJ kid. Alex Mack seems likely 2yr $8M deal would work IMO, draft a IOL to be groomed behind him. Moseley, Brunskill, Dwelley, & Harris tendered as RFAs & ERFAs, extend Warner. We might be able to get a FA or 2, maybe Desmond King or Mike Hilton if we lose K'Waun, Curtis Samuel or someone else at WR if Bourne walks, I think he may end up with the Jets too. I can see Laken getting extended, saves $2.74M too. They can get more cap room by doing a pay cut with Dee, I don't know how he remains in 2021 at $20M cap number. All in all, I expect Trent, Juice, Verrett & Hyder back of our UFAs, maybe Garland if we don't sign Mack. Blair & DJ Jones on cheap 1yr deals would be great.

I see all the same except resigning Hyder unfortunately. Kwaun is gone but we can get a fa to almost replace him like you said. We need to go OL or CB in the first if we don't trade up for Lance or take mad Mac Jones.
hope you doing good brother. I'm getting exited about FA even if we don't get a lot of players. We just need the right players
