I believe Moore will not be starting for the Niners. He has to be the worst at playing the Alleys and taking poor angles. I would rather sign Tart back. I would start the young man that came from Indy to play SS before Moore.
We need to get better at OL and need a starting SS. A Nickel back is needed as well. I like Mosley but I believe he will be better outside.

Ebukam would start opposite Bosa IMO. Add in Thomas, cause Moseley will likely move inside at certain times. Also add in Jennings at WR. Not a bad lineup, need to shore up the IOL.

Draft the best C/G with our first pick unless a phenomenal talent at DE or Safety slides.

We rotate D-linemen so much, it really doesn't matter who starts.

True, we rotate usually 8-9 DL every game, so yeah, other than Bosa & Armstead, doesn't matter who's the "starter" or not.

It matters in the sense sense of Hyder is a better run stuffer while providing slight pass rush. Ebukam more is of a speed rusher. Would make more sense to let Hyder start and take on the run looks and rotate Ebukam in on pass rush downs. Of course Ebukam could spell him whenever but that's how I'd do it.

This! Hyder already demonstrated top 5 run stuff percentage without the help of Bosa as well as getting 8.5 sacks while demanding the most attention on a DL without Bosa Thomas and Ford. He should be the starter with Samson rotating in

https://49erscap.com/index.php/2022/03/28/revisiting-my-way-way-too-early-49ers-2022-projected-roster-with-my-mock-draft/
Latest article, at the bottom, shows how the 49ers can keep JG if they choose to, but it'd be best to cut him or trade him, and rollover as much as possible into 2023, we're not signing anymore big name FAs/expensive FAs this offseason, not when we need to preserve cap room for next offseason, plus for Deebo & Bosa, both for their 2023 cap numbers, it won't take much to extend them, or Aiyuk in 2023, it's just their 2023 & 2024(for Aiyuk) cap numbers are what they need that $25.55M for IMO, they can realistically carryover $12M-$14M of that $25.55M, using about $6M-$8M on in season roster moves, on top of $2.9M ish on their PS. They'd need to do 1 or 2 moves to free cap room to operate if they don't get rid of Jimmy, likely Trent, saves $4.904M.

Just out of curiosity. What is the NFL consequences for being over the cap? Do York's forfeit draft picks / forfeit games? Does the NFL league office impose stricter measures as to not allow 49ers to operate? No draft / mini camps / OTAs / Training Camp, etc?

How we would get over? Sign another deal taking us over? Any deal we sign has to be submitted to the league. Won't happen.

This happened to the Niners in 1999 I believe it was. We got fined as a team, owner and GM. Plus we lost 2 draft picks.

I don't know what happens if you're over the cap, if you violate it, you do lose a pick or 2, the 1999 thing may have been the whole Eddie D losing the team, I forget which year it was, but we violated the cap by paying players under the table, Brent Jones, & Steve Young I believe, lost picks, fined, etc..
