So what happens if the team is over the cap tomorrow? Fines? Loss of draft picks?

Honest question I don't know the answer to.

See 49ers 95 through 2005. We went over in 94. Cap Hell for years after.

In what way, specifically? Does it involve fines? Restrictions on contracts for subsequent years?

I'm looking for more than just "cap hell".

f**k the Salary Cap! Get all the good players on 2 year huge contracts. Pay the fine and win 2 SBs!! It will be worth it.
Is it by midnight teams have to be under the cap? Or is it by sometime tomorrow?

Owner got fined. Carmen Policy got fined (can't remember his position on team). Lost I believe 3rd and 5th pick. And I believe we got a cap penalty for few years but can't remember 100%.

Promised a bonus that wasn't in contact I believe.
So, here we are at 5:30 on Tuesday evening & Jimmy is still in the books. With our recent losses (Tomlinson, Jones) are we technically under the cap?

Or do we need to move some things around or cut somebody to fit Jimmy's money (unless something happens before tomorrow) under the cap?

Why does it have to be a "turd" ? Jimmy is/was a class act for the org. Was/is he limited and frustrating a lot of times ? Yes. Should the Niners move on ? Yes. But I don't see what he has done to deserve to be called a turd.

We're over. Guessing couple late hour restructures will happen.
Hope we don't get dock a draft pick tomorrow for being over the cap!
Arik Armstead, Jimmie Ward, and Kittle will be restructured tomorrow morning

I've been saying this over and over again. And posters have the audacity to claim that noone hates Jimmy. Its just so gross and disrespectful, something I expect to see from Philly and raider fans not niner fans.
