Nice but i need you to get more aggressive with your disclaimer. More like steal my s**t and I'll show up at your house with a gun

I would but then I'd probably get Spotrac come at me for "threatening them". I signed up for a service that will help protect my work, also disabled the use for people to be able to copy and paste my info, only I'm allowed to copy it and paste it if I need too. I hate doing it, but with whatb Spotrac has done to me, and OTC, and everyone like me and their sites, I needed to do this.

Totally agree with you. Unfortunately they can still screen grab your data. but I appreciate all the work you do. I'm betting the difference between you and the other sites is that the other sites may have limited resources to put to each team whereas you focus (I think) a lot more on the 49ers and you hence -- just have more data than they have, and can get better and much more precise numbers than they have.

Yeah that's the one thing they can do, is screen grab it, I think I have printing disabled, so no one can print it out, I mean if someone I know wants to for personal, like to have it, I'd be more than happy to email my workbook to them. Yeah since I focus on just the 49ers I have more data, but OTC really does a great job with all 32 teams, they have a great group of guys working on the site. Jason Fitzgerald is great, he knows his stuff, he's the Jets equivalent of me. We have 17 teams covered, so 1 person for 17 teams, would love to see 32 teams covered by 1 person each, 32 sites, working with OTC, would be great IMO.
Great layout and info.
I do have a question. Why do Tim Harris Jr and Jauan Jennings have dead money when they're still on the roster?

First thank you, and second, it's due to their signing bonus prorations, since both were released after June 1 last yr, their remaining prorated money becomes dead money. You'll notice a lot of names, mostly UDFAs from the previous year. Normal thing, most players will leave some sort of dead money, so say a guy gets his workout bonus fulfilled, but ends up cut, whatever he may have had GTD, plus his workout bonus becomes dead money, basically dead money is money already paid to the player.
Would it be beneficial for Atlanta to cut Julio if they can't find the right trade? This feels like the 49ers could be next in line for a leanord Fournette situation.

Thanks.
NFL salary cap is one of those things that I start thinking I'd like to know how it works, so I start reading up on it, get a headache and quick.
Thanks for "taking one for the team" for guys like me.

They can't, his $15M salary is fully GTD, they have to trade him or give him a new deal where he reduces his salary.

No problem Sourball, any time, it's not the easiest thing to learn or understand, I even learn new things from time to time. I'm not perfect at it, but I'd say I'm damn near close, I know the CBA, I know the cap, how everything works, some things I don't like comp pick formula, luckily Nick Korte of OTC knows, and he's like 99% right each year.

AB question, does Jimmy's deal become GTD week 1? And if he gets moved before the trade deadline how much does SF owe vs the new team trading for him?

If he's on the week 1 53 man roster, yes it's Fully GTD, they'd only have to pay dead money wise, however many weeks he's on the roster, plus whatever he earned from roster bonus, workout bonus, plus prorated bonus($1.4M in 2021 and 2022).

Okay thanks for this.
Update, I decided to actually buy a service to copyright protect my content, through Wordpress, for $45 for 1 time, no one can do anything, the only way you're getting my info is by actually taking a camera or phone and taking a picture, I've disabled the ability to take a screen shot and to print it out. If anyone wants to see or have a copy for themselves, let me know, I'm happy to email a copy, just tired of Spotrac copying without giving credit. Also the site is 100% secure, https secured, https://www.49erscap.com/

Looks great! Bookmarked.

Yeah, that is a nice setup. VERY easy to follow. One thing, the players in the second list that aren't in the first list count $0 against the cap?

The 3 players not in the first table of players are the 3 unsigned draft picks(Lance, Sermon & Thomas), and the cap room will go from $17M to $12M when those 3 sign their rookie deals.

You should make your disclaimer stand out slightly. It easily gets missed. Maybe smaller but darker font?

Which disclaimer? I have a few on the home page.

The one about giving credit.
