When all is said and done, they'll get $1.075M, but for top 51 rule wise, they only get back $225K when he retires. He already took the pay cut at the beginning of the offseason, where they gained $6.875M. Still even with the $1.075M in the end, they will be between $8M-$10M under(depending on the roster) when the season begins, that includes the practice squad, but not a Warner extension.

Per source, the NFL and the NFLPA have agreed to a salary cap ceiling of $208.2 million for the 2022 season. If it gets there, that would be a 14 percent increase over the 2021 cap of $182.5 million. (more)

About a 25 mil increase followed by another 25 mil off the books after Jimmy G is gone (minus the small cap hit). If we were to make a move on Julio, we could do so and still have plenty of money to prioritize free agents again (I assume we could lose a player like Tartt next year or K Williams, Mostert. I do think we can fit most players under our cap with that extra 50 million

Not really. If that's indeed the final number, it's not even enough to cover Jimmy's salary if they want to keep him in 2022. That's a $26 million increase but they have a ton of contracts to do again next year since they did mostly one tear deals this year.
