The 49ers secondary is 100% in the bottom of the league. They were terrible last year and literally did nothing to improve that.

I been hoping for this since Lynch and Shanahan were hired!!! Emanuel McNeil-Warren would've been a solid pick!!! Then again the 9wrs wouldn't have got Strib Club.

The secondary from 2019 - 2023 was all better than this secondary.

To be clear I don't think our secondary is bottom 5, but certainly in the bottom half of the league. Without going team by team I'd put us at about #22.

Lenoir is good, stout is decent and could be good if he can clean up penalties, green is average, mustapha is borderline NFL starter, brown is backup tier.

We'll see if morris can elevate any of these guys but until the bullets are live, this is what it is

You can't be serious. Laughable cause there's a few, but the easiest was in 2019. They had the #2 ranked coverage grade of 92.5 (pff).

Do you actually listen to what's happening to the Seahawks or just the 49ers?

Brown getting ran over by a big RB in a practice where defense can't really go full wrap up tackle mode doesn't bother me. Brown in coverage has been a problem from day 1. I don't know how anyone can feel great about our safety play. I feel much better about our corners but we play a lot of good coaches and QBs, they will target the weak links.

If Brown is starting then he better show us something new and we better hope the pass rush is doing its job at a high level.
