How Do We Feel Going Into This Season?

Did the Rams not want to win the SB last year?

Of course they did; the rams were a drive away from making the SB for the third time since moving back to LA. Props to their front office and ownership, b/c they're not satisfied with just competing or settling for one ring.

Great...how many did they win?
I think we will do exactly what John and Kyle have set up. A winning season. Getting to the playoffs. Maybe win one playoff game. And enjoy the off-season. I honestly don't think any of the major decision makers care about winning a Super Bowl. John and Kyle want to be good enough to not get fired. Jed wants to be good enough to sell tickets and merchandise. And the new generation of participation trophy fans seem happy with that...

1, which is more than the niners have in let me check my notes...31 years, and not counting the other two trips and championship won in St. Louis with the previous owner. And now they're making sure that they're in the big game again this year, so that'll likely be 3 trips since '18, and 2 wins in 5.

But yeah, the niners are playing 3D chess, so in 2-3 when the current core is gone, they'll all be replaced by younger and better players, since they're so good at drafting.
Before the Rams got Myles Garrett I really thought we had a real chance at the division. Now, I'm not confident we'll even make the playoff's.

I think they care about winning but are too scared to actually push their chips in. Kyle and John too scared to move onto younger players or really push in the cash for some decent oline help or pay joey or cam. Jed too scared to fire either of them as long as the team keeps having good enough results...

Every year Kyle and jed move further down the coaching and fo ranking. Imagine if the Seahawks or rams win the sb again I am sure more questions will come.

Yeah man if the Rams or Seahawks win the SB; for me personally, that will be the straw that breaks the camels back. That would be multiple SBs during the Kyle/Lynch era before they even got one. I would be completely out and want change; whether that's firing Lynch or Kyle or both, something would have to change man.

I feel f**kin sick just thinking about McVay and the Rams got one and the Seahawks got one last season; before we did. Been so long I almost don't remember the feeling of my favorite team winning the big game
I feel great. Just stay healthy.

Agree 💯 %, its going to be a dog fight in the toughest division of the NFL.

Cause of 2 games? Overreaction for sure

That's essentially a 4 game swing within the division not to mention running into them in the playoff same goes with the Seahawks

Okay but I think it's typically safe to assume you go 1-1 within division with the Rams. The games still need to be played. I'm not happy about Garrett being on the Rams but we fans have seen super teams fall flat on their face many of times.

Bigger concern with the Rams was them upgrading their secondary. They were the clear fav to me in division before getting Garrett.

Not sure why it's safe to assume we'll win half. We are not scrubs but you have to admit it's not going to be easy with that revamped defense. I feel we've seen "super teams" actually win it all or close to more than "fall flat on their face" I'm trying to think of an example the 2011 Eagles?

The PYMWYMI thread will be up in a few months.
Myles Garrett... lambs must be worried about our passing now with our four headed monster Evans-Kirk-Piersall-Strib
