How Do We Feel Going Into This Season?

i see elite all over;

elite HC and QB with stud weapons, top LT, 2 DPOY types in the front seven, with year 2 mykel, collins, west, greenlaw back, elite secondary it's the best secondary we've had in a long time; probably the best team shanny has had yet; my one fixation is we aren't the same team without cmc on the field and we have no proven RB depth, aside from that achilles heel, and since when has an achilles heel brought anyone down

Elite HC and QB is very debatable. Not really seeing who on defense is a DPOY unless Nick comes back and looks amazing. Our weapons are good but fragile. Hopefully some young studs step up. A lot will depend on health and this team has shown the inability to stay healthy throughout the season.

the D is to me a #1 in NFL D with depth, talent, front to back play, coaching, then you add mike evans, cmc, trent, kyle, brock and 30+ ppg to a top ranked D, that's a super bowl ring imo
No expectations really. This team could end up being at the bottom of the league or could be making a run at the Superbowl. Not really sure how it will go especially with our history of injuries. I guess I will just enjoy the ride no matter how it goes.
Lately, health was always the issue with us... Niners can go deep in playoffs when they aren't missing 20 key players

One more solid Edge and a true FS away from being really scary on D. A lot of ifs can change all that... Sample, White, Height can step up and collectively be a big boost while the 2nd year guys (Collins, West, Williams) take a huge leap, Morris gets the secondary to be a strength

Hopefully, Bosa, Williams and Kittle can come back nearly as good from injuries, and CMC doesn't wear out

I'm still banking on 11+ wins and trip to SB

It's a real toss up. Remain healthy at key positions and the defense can stop teams from lighting up the scoreboard and it will be an entertaining season. Injuries reappear as they have been the past few seasons and the defense falls apart we are looking at another hard year. To win as many as we did last year with that mash unit was a true testament to Kyle. He completely changed my opinion of his coaching abilities. So hc is a plus. Qb is a plus. The rest is a toss depending on availability. If we just rating who wears the uniform we look very good. Unfortunately we need them to actually play… Slick Rick, CMC, Fred, tge entire defensive line, back up TE until kittle is ready and our new offensive weapon if he is available for more than 8 games we will have a good show to watch.
