His young DT - 4th round pick Brandon Dorlas (2024 draft) had 8+ sacks also in 2025. Now, this year, he has Bosa, Mykel Williams. Add in Kris Kocurek and the talented rookies - and I think this defensive line has the potential to be great this year.

Osa has also been added to the mix

Great point, forgot about Osa. He was on a team defensively ranked 32nd statistically.

Jaden will not be the Mike LB. KJ played WILL didn't he, but that is Dre for now. So SAM- there was talk because of his size, he would take the TE and bigger slot receivers if he is in coverage. For his rookie year I see him blitzing a lot with some falling back in coverage. depends on the team they play.

We are not going to see it till the season starts as pre season is supposed to be vanilla schemes.

One does not just come in and beat a Gifford

Nor Cassius Marsh for that matter

That dude is retired

Lol

Yeah but he actually played well. That team and scheme were a disaster. Lol

i love that all the youngsters got a year of experience under them. Factor in that they're in love with the game, I bet theyre spending a lot of honing their craft in their first off season. I think a lot of fans think players spend all off season grinding as much as they can and that's simply not true, unfortunately. They view it as a job and put in the work they think they have to. You hear it a lot in podcasts done by former or active players
Dugger is like 5 lbs lighter than Aldon smith but everything else lines up really close. Both have super long arms, fast, 6'4.

I don't feel like we see many dudes with 35 inch arms. lol that's crazy. He has the arm length of someone 6'9-6'10.

Charles Omenihu had 36" arms. Fucking nutty.

Too bad this kid doesn't have a fraction of the skill of any of these dudes. I haven't seen any tape because ragin cajuns tape is impossible to find, but people that I respect say he's a long shot to even stay in the NFL.

I just hope he plays special teams and gets to develop this year. Let him develop. I think he's really talented and needs to just adjust and get stronger

I like his angles and pursuit. Looks fluid out there, IMO.

Its hard to believe he's 240+. He looks more like 220+ because of how tall and skinny he is.

Yea he brings people down in space pretty well. We need that to cut down on our missed tackles that have been promoted by our all gas no brakes defensive philosophy.

Let's see if his instincts translate to the next level. I wonder if he's violent enough for the NFL. We'll see

For him its mainly learning how to play LB position because he only has 1 year of experiance at LB. But it isnt like hes new to football he played S and from what i read he was the best coverage LB in the East-West shrine bowl week.

I could absoutly see him in sub packages with that length speed and coverage ability this year as he learns the position to take the SAM role full time but ya he does have a huge amount of upside
