If the measurables included IMPACT and STATS, he would be first or second on that list.

The Falcons were the first opponent to pay attention to the kid and limit his impact. He will probably see a lot of that in the coming weeks.

No.

He might be the best DT taken, but he does not belong as a top 10 rookie when taking into account all rounds and all positions

This dude is baiting people. In multiple forums. Don't fall for it. He will eventually go away, or get banned. Just remember that if you spot something outlandish, check the poster. It's usually someone working hard to get your goat and nothing more.

You're entitled to your opinion, no matter how silly it is. Do you even realize how important DTs are? Pressure up the middle wrecks offenses.

i never said he was a bad player. i think he is really good, and a draft steal for sure.

and i am also sure he is not a top 10 rookie, including all positions

I believe were seven games into a 17 game season. DT is a position that typically takes a couple of years to adjust to on the NFL level and Gracen is off to a hot start. Let's not count him out as a top 10 rookie 7 games in and let's be happy he's doing what he's doing so young into his NFL career
It's the wrong move to put him to the bench. Halton and Buckner would rule the world. Osa is only getting the nod because of how much they pay him. Certainly not on how they play as Halton has out performed him this year. It's just paycheck which is bigger and veteran status. I hate that the NFL and Shany operate this way. But there is some real economics to it. No chance you could actually watch the games and not thing Halton belongs out there with Buckner. At least they have to work him in a lot. Maybe even a 5 man line on pass rush downs also.

They are going to be rotated heavily, this will actually help Halton negotiate the rookie wall that comes with the extra games that pros have to play.

I guess the rotation thing is hard for folks to understand. But then they turn around and complain about depth.
