If Gracen Halton continues at this level, he will be a rookie Pro Bowl player. He has already surpassed Collins, West and even Osa and is the teams best DT and his job should be etched in stone at this point.

Lynch needed to hit big on a DL and he did. And the 49ers have him on a rookie contract for the next 3+ years!

He's the best D lineman regardless of position
Lynch nailed this draft class. Dugger, Black, Stribling (who will be good).
listening to lombardi, they call him Baby Donald lol

Kid is a top tier athlete

His athleticism is very elite. Quickness and speed for his size is very good. That's what makes him good. He's just a tiny bit undersized. But not so far outside of the ideal standards that you can't do it. At almost 6'3" and just 7 lbs. short of 300 lbs. he's not really tiny. He's big enough and very fast, explosive and athletic. It can work like that obviously. Because as you can see it does.

Unrealistic to expect him to have every game like the one yesterday, but every other week maybe

You must be kidding. Halton has improved with every game he was put into. It started with the Rams down under. That team was gashing the 49ers with the inside run during the first quarter. Then, Halton entered the game. The gashing stopped. That's just one example. He's made eye-opening plays with every single game he's played. On Sunday, his fifth game in the NFL, he announced his presence with perhaps his greatest game ever. And now you would suggest "every other week?" Seriously? Halton is going to wreck this league by his tenth game if his growth keeps up. At some point teams will be forced to employ a regular double-team on him. Which will just open things up for the edge rushers or perhaps last year's 1st round pick.

I don't think Halton has shown us his best yet. That's the scary part. We haven't seen it yet. This kid is a star in the making.

All he has to do is maintain this level of play. One of the best things about the guy is he keeps his eye on the ball so he always knows where it is. A lot of guys engage and put their heads down. He locks up and keeps tracking, you can see him with his head up, keeping his eyes on the ball carrier. I was happy we got him from seeing him wreck games in the SEC. He's even better than I thought he would be.
Now if only Collins and West pan out.

His teammates I guess and how disruptive and athletic he is for his size. He also mentioned he played WR/RB early age.

Don't care what they call him, just keep making the QB's life a hell and stop the run.

Strangely they are better than the starters in front of them. Which makes me question the original depth chart.
