Get use to it. This will be the norm until something is done about NIL.

It's kind of funny when you think about it. Remember when Lynch said "we need to get younger." Even the draft isn't helping us with that. Lol

I'm actually okay with this just to spite the group here that kept citing over and over about how the 49ers have zero impact players under 25 or something lulz.

My initial reaction like most is that I don't like the pick. However, the idea that Black can't be a receiving threat is overblown. He only had 8 receptions the last 2 seasons but that appears to be due to scheme and the weapons that Indiana had. He had 44 receptions in 2 years at JMU.

Would really like to see Shanny cut CMC's touches by 30-40% in the regular season. Reading the reports on him being a high character guy and willing blocker, he could provide an option the coaches trust to relieve CMC more.

Could we have added him or another RB later in the draft? Sure, but projections in this year's draft were worthless as the guys from 20-100 are a coin flip. So while I don't love the pick at face value, I can envision a scenario where it ends up being solid.

Yeah yeah we know... Cucks, Tards or Lambs were going to snag him before us, hence we reached 8 rounds to get eem

Well they fell in love with the reach picks so they probably picked them in a position where they knew they were available. If you like a player and want to make sure you get him, you may have to reach.

Having said that, I'm still pissed they chose Cameron Latu vs. an offensive line pick from a few years back. But they did finally find Jake Tonges in free agency.

I think the undrafted portion of this offseason will be big as the talent level of this class is not where it usually is.

I only saw some pass pro cutups and he is a beast there, this is usually the hardest thing for new RB coming in to the NFL to learn, and this dude is already very good at it... I don't remember him from the IU games I saw this year but that doesn't mean he won't be productive for us.
I was pretty depressed about the pick last night. Just feels a bit like history repeating itself. But it's no fault to the kid so I'm going to be in full support and will judge him as would any other third round pick I have no clue about.

I will say, since it was the last thing on my mind before falling asleep, I dreamt that someone compared the kid to Emmitt Smith. I know, weird comparison, but that's who the universe brought into my dream world. So all that is to say, this kid's going to be a HOFer because the universe enjoys a good underdog tail. You heard it here first. These first ten pages will be a hoot one day.

Yeah, it seems like he stands a good chance in being a rookie that Kyle trusts to use due to his blocking, which is what usually puts a young arby in KS's doghouse. He should be a star special teams contributor, the go-to kickoff specialist, reliable 3rd down back, and a guy who can get tough yardage and spell CMC from those body battering type of runs. I get not liking the guy in the third, but he actually seems like he'll contribute this year.

I agree. But I still believe they hate cover safeties
While a 3rd may be high, i can see the appeal. He does ALL THE little THINGS you want a RB to do, and STs that makes him be an excellent RB3/4 if he does not step up to being a quality starter.
I can't get over this.

Bruh, get rid of the poop emojis. The kid does not deserve a fanbase that is against him from day one.
I like the eye-test on this guy. His runs are smooth, decisive, and he seems to take good angles. Sub 4.5 speed, built like a mini tank.

Look at this picture of him training.

JFC.

The poop emojis reflect the s**tty value, not the player. I don't mind the player IN THE f**kING FIFTH OR SIXTH ROUND.
25 sounds old for a RB, but he only had 443 career carries in his college career, about the same as Jeremiyah Love who is 20.

It's not the age that gets RBs, is the pounding.

Understood, but I appreciate you taking them away nonetheless. This fanbase sucks ass, so let's hope this kid shuts us up quickly.
