Agree. I can't wait to see him play in preseason.

I think his production at TT will be transferable to the 9ers... he had a beast on the other side in Bailey so he is used to one on ones and no special attention, Bosa will give him the same type of situation... he can play on day 1 as a pass rusher so I'm excited to see what he can bring
This was a great pick when we are talking about a complimentary piece for our DL. He will come in about 20 to 25 snaps a game ans is a guy who has the explsoviness, pass rush moves, bend etc to be a huge problem for opposing players.

The only problem is he isnt an alpha pass rusher which is not why you drafted him but he will need our DL to stay healthy. He will be a Dee Ford type of player

This guys energy just flies off the film. It's impressive. If you look up "play with your hair on fire" - you'll see a video of this guy.

really excited for him. Just like Halton, great piece for what we currently need. I really like what we've done with the d line over the last 2 years

Is he better than Huff or is it way too soon to tell?

Way too early, but I think he can be a very productive pass rusher in this league and should contribute early in his career because he's close to being a finished prospect. I was convinced he'd be a solid pick after seeing him put belt to a** on Lomu, who a lot of people wanted. He made buddy look bad that game.
This guy will be a situational guy but he should create immediate value in his role. He won't be asked to do more than just rush the passer. Hope we can get him in some third and longs, then he can just tee off.

at 25 years old, he is a finished product from a development standpoint. He won't grow anymore, maybe he can clean up his technique??

The NFL isn't a development league.
I love the pick.

I can't wait for Morris to throw out his 5 man front. If Gracen Halton shows he can get significant reps this is a group that is going to do some serious damage and is night and day better from what we had last year.

DE- Nick Bosa
DT- Osa Odiahizuwa
DT- Gracen Halton
DE- Mykel Williams
OLB- Romello Height

LB- Fred Warner
LB- Dre Greenlaw

Throw in Collins and West rotating with Osa in base D and Wallow at SAM who looked great in the playoffs and our D is going to look much improved from the mash unit we had to play last year.

Holy S. I listened to podcasts just destroying this guy all lead up to the draft. And we picked him?!?!?
wow!!!!!

he's a 25 year old 6 year college journeyman and some people here like him?

if Seattle had picked him we would be clowning them for this pick!!
This isn't mine but it's good, this guy is the edge version of Ricky Pearsal.

If you take it in the context of him as a full time edge player, then yes. Flame away. As a designated pass rusher this is a great pick.

I'm torn because realistically what we're saying is that we just need a bit more juice off the edge, but in reality we're admitting that we didn't get that from our #11 pick last year.

If we were just worried about injuries and adding depth we'd have added a more rounded edge player.

I won't even buy that it's because we like Mykel rushing inside on passing downs, if that's the case why did we trade for Osa and draft Holton?

We're at the point where we're having to mask deficiencies from players on our roster in upcoming years. How about we bring in complete players in the first place?!

I mean last year everyone was injured not sure if you remember. The one thing the team cant have too much are pass rushers. The most physically demanding position is by far the DL and you see DL/pass rush lose juice with too many snaps so its important to rotate and keep players fresh. Halton is basically the backup to Osa and West will be backup to Collins.

We will have 2 players (Williams and Osa) rush on inside on normal nickel downs where Collins and Osa will be rushing on base downs. And on nickel downs Bosa and Height will rush from the EDGE where Bosa and Williams will rushg on base downs. Obviously they will be some create packages where this will get mixed up but that was the idea.

The way you are looking at it you are assuming no one gets injured and everyone has unlimited stamina so you dont sub anyone

Height is "white" on pressures and win rate. It looks like average but there's a lot of red in the chart so it seems better than average.

He's so slender though. Hope he morphs into a Reddick type athlete.

I like the pick also from a designated pass rushers standpoint. Huff, I think retired because he was worn down playing full-time in the injury riddled 2025 season. If the other DLinemen can draw attention away from him, and he goes one on one against the OT, that would be a great situation for him.

Stopping the run is key to getting Romello on the field, but I hope he develops into a more of a three down player at some point. I'm excited about all the 2026 draftees, all have great potential.
