Great pick at #70. Bailey got the headlines, and deservedly so, but Height does many things very well. He's really fast! Love this pick.
Agree. I can't wait to see him play in preseason.

"Man, it's like everything happened for a reason. I was expecting to go a little earlier, but I was just thanking God. He's going to get me to a place I need to be, and we're going to thrive. It's a huge blessing… pic.twitter.com/6q2V4iu5WK

I think his production at TT will be transferable to the 9ers... he had a beast on the other side in Bailey so he is used to one on ones and no special attention, Bosa will give him the same type of situation... he can play on day 1 as a pass rusher so I'm excited to see what he can bring

This was a great pick when we are talking about a complimentary piece for our DL. He will come in about 20 to 25 snaps a game ans is a guy who has the explsoviness, pass rush moves, bend etc to be a huge problem for opposing players.
The only problem is he isnt an alpha pass rusher which is not why you drafted him but he will need our DL to stay healthy. He will be a Dee Ford type of player

Is he better than Huff or is it way too soon to tell?

Way too early, but I think he can be a very productive pass rusher in this league and should contribute early in his career because he's close to being a finished prospect. I was convinced he'd be a solid pick after seeing him put belt to a** on Lomu, who a lot of people wanted. He made buddy look bad that game.

Holy S. I listened to podcasts just destroying this guy all lead up to the draft. And we picked him?!?!?
wow!!!!!
he's a 25 year old 6 year college journeyman and some people here like him?
if Seattle had picked him we would be clowning them for this pick!!
This isn't mine but it's good, this guy is the edge version of Ricky Pearsal.

If you take it in the context of him as a full time edge player, then yes. Flame away. As a designated pass rusher this is a great pick.
I'm torn because realistically what we're saying is that we just need a bit more juice off the edge, but in reality we're admitting that we didn't get that from our #11 pick last year.
If we were just worried about injuries and adding depth we'd have added a more rounded edge player.
I won't even buy that it's because we like Mykel rushing inside on passing downs, if that's the case why did we trade for Osa and draft Holton?
We're at the point where we're having to mask deficiencies from players on our roster in upcoming years. How about we bring in complete players in the first place?!
