Dieter Kurtenbach has bloody good intel and he is adamant that the Rams were all over this guy and that he wouldnt have lasted until 58.
As a whiner fan, I hope he busts so Lynch and Shanahan can be fired and we hire some scrub GM and Coach that goes 5-11 for a decade straight.

Did I do the b***hing right?

(For reals though - I hope he's awesome and balls out).

He's calling it depth. I don't think even Lombardi can spin it right now.

The 4.36 and vertical will be the sell lol. It's some nice tools....but he's not a borderline first round pick. I'm on the keep moving down if this was your target train. Especially for a guy that probably won't play. "He's gotta beat out the guys in front of him"- Kyle when explaining why we don't see him on the field.

A faster version of Jauan who can beat man coverage. What's not to like?

Taking him at 33. JJ was a 7th rounder btw.

Obviously if he turns into a great player it will be no big deal but we keep reaching for guys in these situations and it's pretty frustrating.

Also we haven't had many reaches like this that worked out well for us. Hope this kid breaks that trend.

Nothing against this kid but another WR!

There are needs.

WR is a need. Even with the vet additions.

I have nothing against the player. I have everything against how this staff has used young WR the last few years.

would rather select a day 1 contributor on the DL rather than a healthy scratch week 1.

Yup. This is the concern. I like the measurables so we'll see. But Im.not optimistic with Evans, Pearsall, Robinson, Cowing, and Watkins. A lot to overcome to see any real playing time.

4th round picks who haven't played much and some older players doesn't seem like much to overcome, maybe I'm wrong
It's on Kyle Shanahan and the WR's coach to coach up and develop Stribling.

Much smaller need than secondary de or og. That's the issue.
Well...his highlight reel, has some legit highlights.....dude looks like a cross between TO and Moss. Hell...some of this stuff looks like Clift Branch type stuff...

Yes, expensive pick-position-wise. A faster Jauan would have been an earlier pick too. Who knows how he'll turn out, but I can see why 9ers like him at #33.
