Yea, I think this guy may be better than advertised in out offense.

The truth is that if the 49ers do this right, Toth would be competing for the final OL spot on the active roster and jockeying for a role on the PS.

A move like this doesn't change our draft strategy IMO.

Yup, their draft strategy should be at least 5 trench guys

for sure not changing the draft strategy, but this does require a different draft strategy than what we've been utilizing. If this is like our past drafts, we won't be getting OL help with our top picks or at all with fewer picks to work with overall.

I can promise you one thing. No eagles fan is calling him a solid starter. He only started 4 games last year. Only starts he had in an eagles uniform last 5 years and our Oline was horrid all year.

I will not hold my breath.

With that said we were one game away from the #1 seed in the NFC, and made it to the divisional round where we lost to the super bowl champs. Kyle's scheme clearly doesn't require top tier OL players.

That horrible O-line has us picking #27th overall rather than in the top 10, these guys played well enough to keep us away from their replacements LOL

I died when I saw that, it's so true lol.

Hard to listen to Lombardi and Cohn.

Lombardi never says anything negative about anything the 49ers front office does. It's so annoying and downright propaganda spewing.

Cohn is just a troll to get clicks.
I never heard of this guy until this signing. He may be the type of guy that will do well with a different coach and a different system. Then agan he may be nothing more than a backup that will be gone in a year or two.

I think so, and hope so all at the same time.
If he's somehow comparable to Daniel Brunskill then it's pretty good

That might be a good comparison.

Agreed. Decent depth signing who can play across the line. Not something to make you avoid a certain position in the draft but can help you not be desperate to address it either.
