That's basically every offense they have their first read. If it's not there, you move the 2nd read. Kyle is just so good at scheming the first guy open that half the time you don't need to check your 2nd read. For some reason he thinks that's bad. Probably also thinks Walsh is trash because he was so good as well at getting the first read schemed open.

Next it'll be gimmicky of Shanny to script plays.

Kyle's offense is so vanilla he doesnt even let the center decide whIch qb to snap the ball to. Smh LAME

What? How many quarterbacks are playing, usually?

Well last year there was at least 3 on the field at various times:

Purdy/Jones
Jennings
Green Dot CMC.

(That post was sarcastic)

i am very biased i'm a big evans fan ppl sleep on how good he is. a lot of it is his frame and you don't lose that with age. we badly needed to get teams out of sitting on those in breaking routes over the middle we love so much. well now you have to deal with evans downfield and in red zone if you want to have your dbs play those in breaking routes ball will be sailing over your head. and if they respect evans with safety deep we can kill em over the middle. it's about giving the d no way to win. i don't think teams will be able to defend us if healthy

don't get me wrong... Evans a HOF... I've loved the guy since A&M .. i just think because of who he is and Shanny's inability to game plan around the defense will hurt our offense by getting Evans the ball as much as possible..

agreed we also got a lot more speed on the offense i mean Jennings was our #1 last year which is crazy. We didnt start the year that way so cant blame FO too much it was going to be Aiyuk Pearsall and JJ which is a good WR group

Evans is going to be such a great addition even expecting a slight decline he has been productive for so long just some of the young guys watching him and how he prepares will be huge. He will be such a threat in RZ and runs all the routes our offense thrives in

Evans is a perfect fit for this offense, even if he's a little older. he hasn't shown decline - just had a rough injury last year. If he's healthy, which we all hope the unit it - this unit will be a 180 difference from last year.

Evans - can do it all and provides the X/RZ threat we've missed for ever.
Pearsall - He's shown that when he's healthy he can ball out. That gives us two guys that can beat Man. Pearsall was the only threat to man last year ad he was injured most of the year.
Kirk - has speed and can beat man - something out slot didnt have last year.
Strib - great blocker, great hands, has shown he can run routes all over the field and will most likely eventually be our X in a couple years.

that unit, which Cowing has looked great before all the hamstring issues and hopefully is healthy. Watkins was coming into his own before injuries last year.

Evans, Pearsall, Kirk, Strib, Cowing, and Watkins brings a ton of speed and versatility. the complete opposite to what we had last year. I dont think robinson makes the team and gets traded. This doesn't include the young guys that have potential but need to be developed, theyll most likely be on PS.

overall, anyone who knows anything about football and this offense - knows that our unit is exponentially better than last year. All we need is health and this unit should be a dominant force. Factor in both CMC/Black catching/running from the backfield. the threats are all over in every way. it'll be a thing of beauty if we are healthy.

good points tank, i concur, except on kirk, he used to be pretty good but injuries seem to have taken a toll he did not look good in houston imo he may not make roster, prove me wrong kirk.. i can show you clips of kirk last year getting manned up by linebackers

Same. I haven't watched that game since. That game blew up our perfect winning record in Superbowls.

with all due respect to Evans who is first class and will be a HOFer, I still think that this is NOT a good signing. .. the guy will demand a play call and it'll just hurt this offense..

it's like JR all over again in Seattle where you can tell the team was TRYING to get him the ball and it got easier for the opposing D.

I'm more worried about Evans durability. He's proven that he can be a productive reciever. If they Double Evans, and all our offensive players are healthy, then that leaves Kittle and CMC one on one. 49ers are the oldest team offensively - thats never a good thing if durability has been an issue in the past.

but the problem is that Shanny's Gimmick Offense is a PRE DETERMINE READ.. This means that the play is already designed to get the ball to that player and if the dude happens to be covered, then the QB will have to wish upon a star that his OL can hold the blockers long enough for him to find another outlet..

A play that has a pre determined 1st read? Wow that's gimmicky as s**t.
