1- We have no receivers. None. Our best WR will probably leave in free agency and Pearsall can't stay healthy.

2- Most of our star players we rely on so desperately are coming off severe injuries. Bosa tore his knee for the 3rd time. Warner broke his ankle. Mykel Williams tore his knee. Kittle won't play next year. And we have no depth behind them

3- All those guys mentioned are older, expensive and coming off major injuries. Trent Williams will be 38 and CMC was just ran into the ground and will be 30. We literally have 5 guys that if we lose just one of them, the entire position group goes to s**t.

4- We have needs at every position group, are picking at the back end of the draft and we have a front office who has had absolutely horrendous drafts. We have ZERO impact players under the age of 25.

5- We need at least two receivers, 1 TE, 1 LG, 1 C to start on offense. When Trent Williams and CMC retire or get hurt this offense is done.

6- We need one pass rushing 3T, we need to hope Bosa and Williams can play at a high level next year, we need two LBers to play alongside Warner. We need one CB, one SS and one FS.

7- We need depth at every position.

A lot of good points there. DE / Edge is a huge need as well.

Then travel there every year for a divisional game ? No thanks.
Could we have beaten the Pats in the SB, with Fred, if we somehow found ourselves in it. Coin flip?

Ummm news flash. They are

We'll see, Seahawks have to find a new OC so they can keep the scheme we invented and groomed their play caller.

We also have more draft capital than them, and we get our best players back from injury.

As for the Rams, we beat them with a skeleton team, don't know how they managed to keep Shula, but he'll be gone next year, sure they have more draft capital but can Stafford and Davantae give the same level of performance another year older and battle worn?

Stafford goes and they crumble, even if he's healthy they'll have their hands full if we're healthy. We also get a 3rd placed schedule which could lead to a couple more wins.

Well you haven't actually addressed anything I said and listed your own points.

I won't do that. #1 You can't discount Pearsall, just because he's been injured in his very short career, you can't predict future injury. I don't think he's a #1 WR, but we had one and then he got injured and went crazy, hardly our fault. Pearsall is a solid #2 and we've got a decision to make on Jennings, at least we recovered Aiyuk's guarantees.

2. Your point here makes no sense, yes we're relying on players coming back from serious injuries, but we were competitive without having them at all, surely that means even if they're a bit banged up it's still a net positive? Also Fred was a week or two away so what makes you think he won't be ready after a full off-season? They've already said Kittles is a clean tear and shouldn't be too bad.

3. Again, past injuries aren't an indicator on future injuries. You complain about the depth, yet they were all injured and we still functioned. Those players now have exposure to performing without our stars, surely they'll do better with them?

4. This is the most outrageous statement of all, have we nailed every pick? No, but no one does, how can you be horrendous while getting guys like Kittle in the 5th, Warner in the 3rd, Lenoir in the 5th, Stout looks good, West looks good, Greenlaw and Hufanga were great, Aiyuk has ended poorly but was clearly a great player for a stretch.

5. Those players may already be on the roster. Kolby and Bartch could develop into the players we need. Between Tonges as a pass catcher and Farrell as a blocker they could hold the fort until Kittle returns. We don't like Brendel but he's been solid. Jordan James looks like a decent RB, yes Trent is old but he wants to play until he's 40, Whitworth did it, why not Trent?

6. Pass rushing 3T may be less of a need under Raheem Morris, between Collins, Williams and West we may be solid enough there, he likes odd fronts which could cover up a few flaws.

7. Every team that has paid there QB needs depth at every position, at least ours got some exposure and didn't suck.

19 chiefs were near the top with offensive holds during the regular season. Super Bowl against 49ers they ran over 70 offensive and not one damn flag thrown for offensive holding And we all saw hold after hold after hold.

23 chiefs led the league in offensive holding during regular season and once again not one damn flag thrown for holding against the Niners in the Super Bowl.

Don't worry though. Sooner or later the WWE errrrrrrrrrrrrr nfl will pick the niners to win their 6th.

Rigged AF!

Both seasons we played the Chiefs outside of QB we were the better team and underperformed. That's on coaching.
I forgot probably the 2nd best draft pick in the history of the league in Brock as Mr Irrelevant. That is not a team horrendous at drafting.

Why were the Chiefs the favorite the first time?

Funny how you never make that argument about 2012.

This would absolutely be worth the horrible season and the embarrassment of them winning in Levi's.

Cheifs had a great pass game that year. But I argue that we were better on D. We can start with the DLine that had Bosa, Defo, Armstead and the 2019 version of M.Williams in S.Thomas. Our LB's had Greenlaw, Warner and Azeez. Secondary had R.Sherman, Mosley, Tartt and Ward. No one on that D was a liability and many of these guys were or became stars in the league.

Our offense was also loaded at the time with a decent Oline, a speedy Mostert breaking out with a young Juice blocking. WR's were a young Deebo, Kittle and E.Sanders.

Chiefs were a one dimensional offense that year and looking up the booking numbers were -1.5 for the SB, just for comparison we were favored -2 for the 23 SB and lost that one too.

Moseley was absolutely a liability. Its how 9ers allowed the 3rd and 15 to begin with. Tartt was also a coverage liability. Chiefs came back from big deficites against every team they faced in the playoffs iirc

2nd SB was 1.5 at kickoff iirc. Both games were coinflips. The problem in the first game wad the qb difference was so huge it couldnt be overcome. 2nd game their defense was better and they got every break.

I think so. Our offense probably does better than Seattle's even if our defense does worse.
