Interesting approach by the rams

The idea is your body supposedly takes a day to two to feel the effects of jet lag... So by getting there last second and playing, they should theoretically be at their optimal level.

On our end, we get there early... deal with the lag, then be ready for the game. Kyle touched on this before, I believe he prefers the old approach.

The problem with jet lag is, if you're not disciplined after you land.. it can take you longer to recover fully from the jet lag/new setting.

No point going back and forth on which approach is smarter. We'll find out to a degree in the game.

Personally I'll be rooting for the Rams to have flight delays so they take even longer to get there. They leave themselves vulnerable to something like that by making it close.

I know Rams are pointing to their Jags game in London last year without Puka as a way of "see we got in, kicked ass and got out" but they have an older roster now. A longer flight vs a team who knows them very well(even if they have some big time new additions) I'm surprised they went that route honestly. Not like you can show up a week early for a mid season game. This is a different situation than the London game for them.

Hopefully their older players feel the effects of the flight this time and it shows on the field. I'm not picky...I'll take any advantage we can get. Not like they felt sorry for us playing us with all the guys we had out.

IF the league suspends him after this game then we will know the fix was in.

The more I think about it the more I think the Rams took the best option. They sleep on plane. Get there, play and leave. The 9ers have to think about it for a week.

I would assume both teams will be thinking about the game for the next week regardless of when they fly in.
