based on what I've read - his units give up an above average amount of yards are strong against the run, get a lot of sacks, and good amount of INTs.
I know that Lamb team he coached up under McVay had Donald, Ramsey and other good players (maybe L Floyd too), but with a healthy Warner, Bosa, MW, Collins, CJ West, Stout, Lenoir and more coming via draft / free agency... this should be the most stacked team he's ever coached with
AND if healthy, he should do good this season. I'm not even certain that Sorensen could totally F this up (as long as we're healthy)

We gave Chris Culliver so much 💩 about comments he made and it rattled him all week and then it spilled over into the game. Prior to all the pearl clutching Bay Area media and fans were doing Chris's Culliver was playing lights out

Seems like odd timing. Why do this now and not right away after he didn't get the Browns job since there were a bunch more jobs open?
Just because he resigned does not mean he is free. He is under contract until the Browns say otherwise. The 9ers didn't play the Browns little game. Moved on..
Ah, ok. I wasn't sure how that exactly worked with a resignation

Clear I wanna be a HC move. He won't even get to call plays but he will get the magic McVay rub. Kinda wild he would leave working with a QB like Jayden Daniels. I wonder what was the reason for the split.

Sources: Former #Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury is joining the #Rams offensive staff to work with Sean McVay.

Kingsbury and McVay are close and have previously discussed working together for a full season — and now it's happening for the 2026 campaign. pic.twitter.com/xShGGoLSaR
They are reportedly close. But this can benefit Kliff not just for another go as a HC but he can learn McVays offense and use it to potentially further expand his own offense if and when he does get another go as a HC.
I think it's a smart move for Kliff.

Donte has a good point with the stats of his D. That said he knows how to finish, his D in Altanta had a ton of sacks and I think that's where he helps us most.

Different personnel in SF. Let's at least give him a chance before we start crucifying him.

Considering the off and on rumors of McVay retiring when Stafford does it could also line up Kingsbury to be the Rams HC in that scenario down the road.

He was bringing up defensive ranking RM has had and they haven't been top 10. Valid criticisms imo. Whitner also said the defense needs some ref flag characters and then we see what just happened with Pearce
