How do we cope if Seattle wins the SB?

TBH I'm sick of hearing about the Seahags and how great of a defense they have. Lets just move on and see what happens in the off season.

They won the first year their window opened meanwhile we're in year 10 of this regime with nothing to show for. s**t like this should piss off the entire organization and fanbase. Time and patience has officially run dry. They are on the clock, gotta get it done. Now or never.
or what?

This. I feel the same way bud. When passion runs strong for your team you cannot help, but to feel this way. Cheers to next year 😔🍻

Y'all can cry all you want. The most that's going to happen is Lynch losing his GM title.
Unless we miss the playoffs two seasons in a row Kyle isn't going anywhere.

Seattle was dfown for a few years while the 49ers were going to 2 SBs. During that time they used their better drafting positions and cap space to rebuld the team. They also lucked out by winning the NFC title in a year when many of the top AFC teams were down. KC, Baltimore, Buffalo and Cincinnati all had problems this season. That's how we ended up with Denver and NE in the SB. NE was one of the weakest AFC teams to appear in the SB in several years.

Yeah with how depleted we were by the end of the season and we still were one of the top teams in the league just showed how weak the NFL overall was this year. Seattle was very lucky to peak at this time. Maybe eventually we will have a year like that

As a real Niners fan and not a stupid Shanahan's worshiper I feel you and I agree with you.
Shanahan has to earn his 3rd extension with a Lombardi trophy because after 2 extensions for losing the Super Bowl and for starting the season 5-0 now is time to get that thing and he has 2 seasons to do it.
BTW Andy Reid has won 3 Super Bowls and he doesn't have an army of worshippers like the one Shanahan has

Four Super Bowl runs isn't "nothing". It sucks they didn't win but that's the way it goes sometimes. If your only metric for following the team is whether or not they win Super Bowls, you're bound to be in for a lot of disappointment. I saw something the other day that said 7 teams had won 34 of the 60 Super Bowls that have been played, and we're one of the seven. It can be a hard legacy to live up to, but the team has remained consistently competitive for most of Kyle's tenure. Even with all of the injuries they had this year, they were in the mix for the #1 seed in their last game of the season and then went on to beat last year's super Bowl champs, which is also not, "nothing". Go Niners!

Agreed, but lets be realistic here. Yes, you will be in for a world of hurt going into every season thinking you are going to win the superbowl, that is very foolish thinking, but when your team, as you mentioned, has been competitive and playoff contending, you do have those expectations. You did, I did, every time we clinched a playoff spot we were hoping to take it all home. No one goes to the playoffs and doesn't think or hope they can win the big game. Thats what these teams go out there to do week in and week out, compete for the trophy. Yes, teams rebuild and teams go through dark times, right now we are not that team. We are competing for a TROPHY , we are not rebuilding or in dark times, i used to think our "window" was closing , but seeing SEA do what they just did, i dont know what to think anymore. But thanks for sharing that info on 7 teams winning 34 of 60 SBs 🤯 thats mind boggling when you put it into perspective. But man its hard when you have been passionate for so long, i barely remember our last SB, I was a kid and so many of our past players deserved it, P willy , Joe Staley, i will spare you the list , but man great input. GO NINERS 🍻
