Better jump on Jim Leonhard before he signs on as Packers DC

Potential 49ers defensive coordinator candidate Gus Bradley already has plenty of supporters in the locker room (via @jenniferleechan)https://t.co/3wWPL5vCDc

I'm telling you all, it'll 99.9% be Bradley.
The only reason I say 0.1% is in case someone like Schwartz falls into our laps but the team knows that's way out of our hands.
They will keep putting out pieces like this to warm you all up to him.

Can someone please link a clip of this? Because I've thoroughly searched Google/YouTube and found absolutely nothing of the sort.
I don't have any video to show you but yeah watching them, it was really obvious they like each other.

Nobody is warming up to Bradley. Why doesn't Saleh take him to Tennessee ?

Kyle is averse to unfamiliar DCs, and wants them to do certain things (not be in booth but on sidelines, play a certain way, and likely with existing players). If Im a DC and I have no prior relation with Kyle I look at the 49ers DC job as highly undesirable. I will be asked to coach out of my element, and if I dont do well I will be scapegoated and kicked out, and there is no real chance of going forward as Kyle isnt going anywhere.
This is the same thing I said when they tabbed Sorensen the guy after Wilks. This still holds true. Saleh got paid handsomely by the 49ers and he and Kyle have a very long-tenured relationship where they both know each other.
It's strange Kyle has been the coach for a decade and people still dont see the patterns. Hes a very conservative coach in terms of people around him and in terms of trust in "outside" people, just like he is with his trust in the system and players who know the system. That's just what happens, and every time he deviated a bit (Trey Lance, Steve Wilks) I think he is just reaffirms it with himself. Id be happy to be proven wrong but I just dont see it.

It's because his defenses with the Colts were not good, especially in 2023-2024 (his last two seasons as DC). They were bottom 8 both seasons.
Yes he had a good top 10 defense with the Chargers but that was back in 2018-2020.
I mean… if we pick him I get it. Everyone can see it coming. But people here are just drooling over the thought of someone better like Schwartz who just had a top 4 defense and in 2023 arguably the best defense of the last 10 years.
I feel the same way about Schwartz now as I did about Wade Phillips in 2017. A proven dream
hire. Of course the ****ing Rams got him

Its gonna be Bradley. Not even worth talking about. Its the whole reason he's here in the first place. Not looking forward to it. Our D needs a massive overhaul.

He is a very bland play caller. Not very aggressive and that is what people are wanting. He does stunts up front but not much blitzing. He is basically a very vanilla version of Saleh
