I'm not questioning whether the source of the injuries are because of some power substation expansion or not. I haven't had much time to really look into it. I am commenting on your 'football is rough' answer....it's rough for every team. You really just chalking it up to that?

The Rams in particular don't even play some of their starters in the preseason games and especially late preseason games. Their strategy is to make them last during the year. Not bang them up in the preseason. Something we should adopt. Shany practice style may also be a little too rough at various times in the year. Got to make changes. Being healthy for the games is the most important. Not banging up players in preseason and practice. The goal is to be healthy through the year.
All that said I maybe would bring in some independent experts. Work with the city or county. Test at the 49ers facility and the substation itself. See what you come up with for EMF emissions. Is it really much higher than normal daily life? Does this or can this have an effect? Ask the experts to study it and come up with a report. I don't think it's that. But I would commission a study. Even if they have to pay for it. At least set your mind at ease and all the players and front office too.

So when you have a player like CMC, who now has voiced his concern regarding the electrical substation, and mind you it doesn't mean he necessarily thinks it's the cause of anything, but you can't ignore the possibility of it being a cause since he is more vigilant and persistent in his training regiment and how he cares for his health and fitness as much as anyone in the league. If it's coming from one of the foundational pillars on the team the last few years, at this point you can't just dismiss it as some BS conspiracy theory IMO.

They really are going to have to find a new location for a practice facility.
It doesn't matter much what evidence is on their side, if the players believe it and the agents believe then the 49ers end up at a competitive disadvantage.

Super Bowl-Bound Patriots and Seahawks to Avoid 49ers Training Ground Amid Ongoing Investigation on the Substation Theory
Since Super Bowl LX is set to be played at Levi's Stadium, the presumption was that the two finalists would base their preparations at the nearby San Francisco 49ers' training facility. Turns out, that won't be the case.
According to veteran NFL analyst Chase Senior, the Patriots are set to hold their Super Bowl practice sessions at Stanford University, while the Seahawks will prepare at San Jose State. Neither team will be using the 49ers' practice facility in Santa Clara, despite staying in the Bay Area for the week leading up to kickoff.
Yes, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks have deliberately chosen to practice elsewhere. Their decision has gotten people talking, given the narratives surrounding the injury-ridden 49ers season.

Greenlaw saying that Niners practices were considerably lighter than Broncos. I think Niners should practice harder and longer. Go old school like in the 90s. That substation is nonsense.

This is getting silly. But I have no sympathy for the filthy rich Yorks. Spend the money and move the facility.

Shanny was about to crank that s**t up

Maybe Shanny has such a soyboy pony tail beta male contact level in practice that by the time they reach the game their bodies are not adjusted to the increased level of physical contact and they break.

Free agents going to ask for both a premium and injury guarantees now because of this.

Dude it's well known that Shanahan has them practicing harder than most teams. If anything the higher intensity practices are a possible cause of the injuries, not because they don't practice hard enough.

If you look at the science of the EMF emissions it makes sense. The substation sends harmonic frequencies at a higher voltage which would stimulate tissue. It's kind of like a giant tens unit for message. I don't know if it is the cause because it would need to be studied in more depth than just a theory. However the science of the substation causing the injuries is plausible.

Greenlaw recently said the opposite. He was asked about the difference between Shanahan and Payton. Greenlaw said Payton is an old-school hard ass who practices his players hard during the week, whereas Shanahan is more new-school and prefers his players fresh so doesn't practice them as hard during the week.

TENS units stimulate nerves, though. It's in the name.

It's not the substation..it's anyone who has had exposure to actual EMF.
Actual EMF:
Sadly, more ppl have been exposed to actual EMF than one might think. This was completely preventable, it's a shame.
