until this year.

Offense: can't run the ball; can't pass block; can't get separation.
Defense: can't pass rush; literally no linebackers; can't stop the run; cannot cover outside of Lenoir and, sometimes, Green; cannot generate turnovers.

Eagles have a ferocious front 7; are 2 weeks rested; and despite being sluggish and disappearing this year, have a very talented arsenal at QB, RB, and WR. They're healthy. They're at home.

I wish I was wrong but I don't see any remotely possible way the 49ers don't get the doors blown off. 12 wins was an amazing accomplishment and I wish the cinderella story would continue had they got that one seed.

4.5 is a crazy line so I put 200 on the eagles to cover. If the niners win, it'll be the biggest playoff upset I've ever seen them have and it's money well spent. If they lose which feels absolutely certain, I have some consolation cash.

Sucks to feel this hopeless over playoffs but they just got dealt a very unfortunate hand yet again this year with injuries and luck.

Everything is pointing in the wrong direction but this Win wouldnt even rank in the Top3 Playoff least likely the past Decade

There's not a single team in sports I hate more from top to bottom than the Seattle Seahawks, and the 49ers just gift wrapped them an easy path back to Santa Clara with the potential to hoist a Lombardi on our turf, a path that was suppose to be ours.

yeah, I'm not feeling so good.
Darnold is a pumpkin. He did nothing against us other than converted a few first downs. It was all the run game and defense. If someone has a better run defense then us and can force him to beat them, then their defense will have to play at an all time great level à la prime Ray Lewis Ravens defense to advance.

I got Jennings getting 17 let's go! Seriously for all their dominance I think we're going to move the ball. As long as Trent is back OLine should be a lot better
The weather looks reasonably good considering what Philadelphia in January could be.

Rain on Saturday but Sunday looks clear and well above freezing.

Niners gonna move the ball and get a couple timely turnovers to get this win!!

I'm just going all positive at this point

Kyzir White with the game sealing fumble recovery at the end. (if he is even playing lol)
Idk, hope not but team might get smoked.

They might. They may lose a close game. They may win a close game.

Only outcome I can't see happening is us smoking them.

I do find it funny how different things are from 2022. We were confident, Eagles fans were confident.

This year obviously we're down on what this team can do given the injuries and what we just saw vs Seattle but Eagles fans in large part are so down on their offense they think they may actually lose regardless of how bad our defense has looked lately.

Let's see what the team can do. Would be an unbelievable feeling to win one like this. OL needs to have one of their best games of the year.
The Eagles purposely lost last week to play the Niners. I hope we prove everyone wrong! Go Niners!👍😎

That's the sad part. White will be in uniform, but Wallow will be getting torched all day long and Kyle won't even flinch.

For the billionth time, no they didn't.

They announced they were resting players well before Bears/Lions and Rams/Cardinals even started.

They simply prioritized rest over MAYBE getting the 2 seed instead of 3 seed. That's it. They did not think "let's lose and probably play the 49ers/possibly Rams instead of the Packers in case the Lions happen to win!" NFL teams don't test fate like that. They play to win or they rest if it doesn't matter to them. That's all.

I wish they would play Brown at LB and let Siegel play safety.

Yikes - I had no clue. I thought Cooper DeJean was their best CB. On the bright side, yes, at least we don't have a true #1 WR for him to blanket lol. Unless they put him on Kittle.

Absolutely they did. I 100% guarantee if they got to choose between playing us or the packers (which they ended up having that choice) they're picking us.

I mean on paper can you blame them?? Their defense is going to perform well against anyone. The eagles offense is an absolute joke and they need to play the worst defense, which is us. We'll see if they regret it or not!

If you want to keep hope alive... fine. Maybe the signing of Kyzir White and Kendricks both playing from start to finish make the LB unit better (who knows), maybe Saleh can get these guys to play more disciplined and perhaps he can scheme up something different / better (who knows). Huff, Sam O, White, YGM and Ferrell might get more hurries, hits, sacks on Hurts while IDL adds more push / pressure up the middle

The defense could possibly show up, but it won't matter if Shanny / offense has another dud of a game

Kyle is getting too predictable. How about some 2 tightend sets with Kittle and Tonges

Hoping for more creativity in the post season. Remember all the trick plays he threw out there when we first got CMC? Dude ran, threw and caught a TD one of his first games here. Same when Purdy was first playing. That tricky TD he threw to Kittle in Seattle is still o e of my favorite plays.

Given Kyle's affinity for wanting to be able to run and pass out of any formation, you'd think he would love running lots of two TE sets.

If the Rams were locked in the 6 seed no way Sirrianni rests his starters. He knew the odds of Rams losing was slim to none especially since McVay said he was going to play his starters. He made a decision and tbph the right one. Take the weaker opponent that's why we wanted Chicago or Carolina.

Besides a few games it has felt like this all year. Once Warner went down the season felt over. The rest was house money. But you never know.
