He didn't allow a single catch.

He's definitely good however a lot of times a top corner doesn't get targeted much, it makes sense to at the weakest link not the strongest. So that can screw the stats quite a bit. I don't think he is the second coming of Dion.

Bring on Philly!
Looking forward to seeing how the Niners respond after last game, where not having T. Williams & Pearsall really put them behind the 8 ball vs. a good team like Seattle. Hoping those two (or at least one) can go vs. the Eagles.

It was still a risk because if Chicago bears gb (coin flip)you are now on the road in divisional
But most people would agree the niners are the weakest (on paper) matchup in the NFC. Hopefully we catch fire somehow!

Today Brock reported that he was confident Trent will play on Sunday. Also the weather looking great for Sunday. More people still taking the 49ers plus 4.5 points.

tell me the number of rush attempts the niners have Sunday and I can tell you if they win or not.

There's Pathways where we can keep the game competitive and maybe win. One key will be to shut down Barkley and make Jalen throw the ball. Not sure how we do that but it might involve giving spot reps to our defensive tackles on the edge or bringing up sigle as a Barkley spy or constant wide side edge support..
Then we have to move the ball. Not sure how we'll do that but lots of rpos and scrambles and jump out short throws. Maybe we can get an RPO touchdown or surprise Philly with a bubble screen walk in.
I would say 20 to 30% chance. Everything would have to just perfectly mesh and Philly would have to give us a couple of gift turnovers.

At philly
defending Super Bowl champs
the 49ers are putting out a bunch of scrubs on defense
49ers have no wide receivers
Saquan vs the niners Swiss cheese run defense
niners got spanked by the Seahawks so there's recency bias
eagles dline vs niners oline
i think that sums it up

Seattle gene left a bad taste in folks mouths, was one of the most thorough ass kickings on both sides of the ball I can recall seeing in a while. PHI D is also legit, the ability to turn on the run , coupled with massive injuries on niners side, I have zero expectations , and really haven't since that influx of major injuries at beginning of the year. Still been a fun season and they've exceeded expectations

This! As I posted yesterday, Philly was super inconsistent. I really believe resting starters last week will hurt them. If we can get Trent and Ricky back I expect Kyle to be far more aggressive in play calls than he was vs Hawks. I don't get why all these "fans" are giving up already as if we shouldn't even show up. 49ers will win this game! I'll also be cheering for Carolina and GB on Saturday.

After the game on Saturday Shanahan said Ricky and Trent would of had a chance to play had the game been on Sunday. Now their availability is in doubt for this upcoming game lol
A couple big ones to watch: #49ers coach Kyle Shanahan tells reporters that Pro Bowl LT Trent Williams (hamstring) and WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) won't practice today, putting their availability in doubt vs. the #Eagles.

SSee the the problem is it wasn't just Seattle. The three games before we gave up over 300 yards of offense to Tennessee Indy Chicago. Made Caleb Williams look like Daryl LaMonica. So it's more than just a one-off unfortunately. And who says I'm being negative? I fully believe we have a 20 to 30% chance of winning this game. Because I think that much of Jalen hurts as a passer. But a few things have to come together and we need to get a couple of breaks. Not calling myself a negative Nelly for that.
