How about this. Every time a team interviews a DC or OC and doesn't hire them, they have to give up their lowest round pick in the upcoming draft. How about that? Because what's happening is total BS.

That's not really workable but the process shouldn't be frictionless for teams who cant grow their own.

Agreed

No.

Teams want to due their due diligence, leave no stone unturned and try to find who they believe is the best candidate available.

AGREE, they really a lot from all the mistakes Shanny can not see that's in front of him.
If the rumors of Klint to Las Vegas are true, then we are officially on Klay watch. Will 49ers allow him to leave for Las Vegas? Does Mick Lombardi move up to be the non-play calling OC?

Why should we let him leave on a non-promotion transfer?

Why would the Raiders hire Klay only for him to not call plays. Hell even Mike LaFleur will be calling plays for Arizona.

To be the HC. Not a big fan of this evolution of HC's calling their own plays...it's not always the best way IMO and things can and do slip through the cracks that shouldn't.
