Was cold as heck so I was happy Purdy didn't have a terrible game after some of his bad weather misfortune previously but it sure wasn't the most exciting lol.

The big punt return and the fumbled punt by the Browns were massive. And the Kittle catch right before half time was so huge.

These Niners feel so weird in that I feel they have no business being 9-4 but they have just enough better talent and coaching to keep winning.

Don't know if they can actually go deep in the playoffs with such a no-name D, but it will be super ironic if the 19 and 23 teams that were absolutely loaded and fell short get beat out by this rag-tag version. And I will be completely fine with it!

I agree. At this point in the season, the way it is with the injuries, i have zero expectations for this team in the playoffs. I have decided to just enjoy the ride.

Of course you have zero expectations. Because this isn't your team.

Oh btw, your Rams lost to the Panthers lmao

Here comes the fan police

Ive been a fan since of this team since the 80s. Go home.

You and about 7 other "fans" showed us who you truly are in the "Concerning - are the Rams forever going to be a million times better than us??" thread.

There's giving a rival a pat on the back and then there's flat-out showing your true colors. No 49ers fan invests THAT much energy into worshipping the Rams like holy crap lol. Like, you exerted more energy in that thread explaining why McVay is so much better than Kyle than you do watching our games. If you're a true 49ers fan then that's pretty sad.

This is your problem. You think criticizing a coach and being unhappy with the way the team is managed makes you not a fan. That's just extremely stupid.

I love the team. I can hate decisions they make. It doesnt make me less of a fan. Im not going to be some lemming that celebtates every move like drafting lance just because im a fan of the team.

Why explain yourself ? These guys think that losing 2 Super Bowls adds to Kyle's greatness because "at least he made it there". Try selling that to Eddie D in the 80s/90s. He'd have Kyle selling cheeseburgers at the closest McDonalds in no time….

Dude ain't arrogant. Prime is his father and he has his demeanor. All Shedeur does is talk and act as if he is favored by God. He's just conducting himself as his father taught him to. Nothing more nothing less. None of that matters to me.

What matters is how does he help his team over the other options they have before them? Time will tell whether he can play or not.

You can be self confident and put your faith in God but just don't be a team cancer. So far I've not seen that and I think people really think he is so much like his father and judges him accordingly.

Deion is Primetime and he let you know that but notsomuch for Shedeur. Unless he is stupid he knows he hasn't arrived but in is kind of he works his time will come and to that I say more power to him but he ain't a Niner so it ain't my problem ultimately

The way people hold Eddie D on high is comical. Not to say he deserves no love, because he surely does. He did create the conditions for Bill Walsh to retire prematurely, and for the slow brain drain from the organization throughout the 90s. He gets credit for providing an environment for the football people to build things up in the 80s and then he deserves the same credit for engendering its deterioration in the 90s.

His team went the NFC Championship Game the last year he had any say. Who knows what he would have done during the salary cap years but you're shortchanging the accomplishments of an owner who extended the dynasty late into the 90s.

Umm… I thought getting to the NFC Championship meant nothing? Your logic, not mine

Sorry I forgot to add that he WON 5 SUPER BOWL RINGS in the process of getting us to that last NFCC game.

I grew up in that past. That's why it hurts when you see fan celebrating SB losses like it was an achievement. Eddie practically fired a 2 time SB winning coach (George Seifert) by not giving him a contract extension 2 years removed from a SB ring ! You guys want to give Kyle a lifetime contract for bringing home the silver medal twice. Newbie fans

I too was fortunate enough to watch the Niners during Camelot, and remember all of the years that followed in which they made the playoffs only to be bounced early, then all of the Erickson, Nolan, Singletary, Tomsula and Kelly years of dog poop. So yeah, I'm proud as hell to be able to watch my team rebuild and consistently be a contender for the ring.
