It's a 1st grade hammy, hence he's week to week, which means he has a decent chance of playing, but they are interviewing kickers

Cmc about to find all the Pantie holes

The Panthers are literally saying the same thing about the 49ers defense lol.

An extra days rest might could help Eddy get ready for Monday night, but Niners already signed back just incase

100% fact. Unless we're getting out to a substantial lead, the game will assuredly turn into a dogfight. If it stays close or we have to come from behind the defense will do no favors. I can tell you that.
Huge game for playoff implications, far more important than the Browns game after from point of playoff seeding. If Niners win, their playoff chances get really really high as they will own a tiebreaker over Panthers and get two games up on them.

It basically becomes a 8 team race if Niners win. Now, Panthers do have a crazy end of year schedule with Rams, Seattle and Bucs twice so I dont know if Panthers are really making the playoffs even if they win. But lets not test out this theory lol

Playing at home is good, but Carolina is peaking right now. Someone on defense is gonna need to make a big play. Just feel it.

Peaking? PEAKING? A week before pulling out a tight game against the Falcons, this PEAKING Carolina Panthers team lost to the Saints. The same Saints that would be the worst team in all of football, had not the Raiders intervened to take that crown. Two weeks before that they got walloped by the Bills. They have improved somewhat over last year, which is a good thing. But I do not believe "PEAKING" is the right term to use here.

Bill for the love all that is holy thank you.

Peaking? Can we agree peaking should mean a little more. The Rams are peaking. The panthers are not. Are they looking better than last season? Yea I think we can say that but to hear people claim string bean doesn't scare etc and that we have to be perfect to win is a little much.

You should always want a clean game but that's every team.

I think like every other Sunday it's going to be another battle for the first half then we start to pull away. Their line backers won't know what hits them and while they are trying to cover Little and CMC it will become a Pearsall kinda day. Losing Bethune and Piniero sucks but that's how our season is going unfortunately. GO NINERS!!

Every time we're over confident it usually backfires. I'm going into this like it will be a dogfight close game. I think it will be

The shape of our defense and Eddy $ being injured gives me no reason for optimism. That defense will be a real problem for us the rest of the year unfortunately.

However we are still a better team than them and we're better coached. If we don't buy our own stink once again and get right for this game it's one we should definitely win and we would win it by a lot if we had a defense that wasn't swiss cheese.

There is no reason for this team to be "over confident" going into this game
My son is a longtime Panthers fan (Was a kid when Cam Newton became a big deal) and so I have watched more Panthers games than most and heard him talk about them forever.

This year's version of the Panthers is about as hard to figure as anyone. They look good one week and a complete disaster the next. Bryce looks like he has "IT" one week and then looks like he is a Div3 NCAA guy the next.

Who knows what this game will be. It is definitely setting up for the Panthers fans and media to hype up finally getting their coming out party on MNF against one of the premier franchises in the sport only for them to lose by 30 (which is what I hope and expect).

That being said, the Niners have so many holes on D and the Panthers have a few big weapons that can definitely exploit it. Key will be the offense starting fast and getting a lead and forcing Carolina to pass all game, and if that is the case Bryce will give us a few chances to take it the other way I am confident.

Just bought my tickets for Cleveland (I'm in Toronto) which I'm hoping will be a fun roadie so let's hope the Niners don't shoot themselves in the foot lol.

My prediction for Carolina is 44-10 with CMC getting 3 TD's.

I have to assume that a home game on MNF will have our guys juiced up. At the minimum the defense should hopefully get some pressure early on maybe their offense off the game.
