We did see it. They were absolutely hapless in the SB with Goff. Might not have been in the game at all if not for one of the more egregious missed calls in NFL history in the NFCCG.

Agree, look at all the elite QBs that have been in the SB in the last 10 years. You need an elite QB!

Tell that to Nick Sirianni. Been to 2 SBs and won one with Hurts. You need a good team. The Chiefs weren't a dynasty just because of Mahomes. Brady's Bucs were stacked. Staffords Rams were stacked. We would have a ring with better coaching, we had a stacked team for years

Once again you're on this garbage.

None of those things had anything to do with coaching yet each of those things going the other way likely have us winning the SB.

And our stacked team had a worse defense and weaker QB. Yet somehow we're stacked and should've rolled the Chiefs - just like the stacked Ravens did?

They had the ball in both SB's with ten point leads. Lost both.

Lost a ten point lead in the 4th quarter vs Rams

28-3

There is one person associated with all of those losses.

No

Were we behind the Rams in 2022 or 2023?
This thread is dumb. The Rams are healthy, and the Niners are not. Also, Shanahan is the better coach. Let's see McVay work magic with the Jimmy Garoppolo's of the world.

Of course you need a good team. But you still haven't given me a team , without an elite QB, that went yo the SB. I think Sirianni also thinks J Hurts is elite.

The Eagles won with a stacked defense. You can win a SB that way without an elite QB, just like the Seahawks did in 2013.

None of that matters when the game is right there in your hands. He just needs to make one easy playcall like Andy Reid has many times for Mahomes, and he'd have a ring. Where's our easy gimme plays in those situations like Andy designs for his offense?

I think you highlighted a big reason why Andy won, having Mahomes as his QB. An elite QB with a great playcaller will get you that kind of magic. Give Kyle an elite QB and he will win Superbowls.

He had one in atlanta and figured out how to give that SB away too

So, he was responsible for the defense blowing a 28-3 lead? Got it.

Not disagreeing with your point, elite QB's win the SB more times than not. Just pointing out the outliers.

I also do not see McVay having the same kind of success Shanahan has had with a Garoppolo type of QB. Would love to see him try if Stafford's back happens to give out at some point.

No but he was responsible for not running the ball in the 4th quarter to keep the clock running. No, he had to be cocky and keep passing the ball. Any high school football coach would know better but not this inept moron.

I don't care how you want to paint it...blaming a 28-3 collapse on the OC and not the HC who btw comes from a defensive background is absolute clown behavior.

Btw in case you're not aware taking a sack keeps the clock running. Fumbling the ball away gives the other team possession of the football. So unless you think Kyle told Ryan to fumble then putting that blame on him is dumb.

Calling a top flight NFL playcaller an inept moron...
I don't think I've ever seen a Super Bowl loss and blown 25-point lead get pinned so exclusively and individually on an OC OR DC in my entire life lmao

Nobody blamed Patricia for the Patriots' loss to the Eagles.

Nobody blamed McDaniels for the Patriots' losses to the Giants.

Nobody blamed Gase for the Broncos' loss to the Seahawks.

Nobody blamed McDermott for the Panthers' loss to the Broncos.

Yet Kyle gets infinitely more blame than Quinn and all of the above for SB51. Why? Because of two play calls over the course of an entire 20-minute team-wide meltdown?

Make it make sense.

Matt Ryan wasn't elite. A franchise QB, yes. But not elite.

Elite is reserved for names like Brady, Mahomes, Montana, etc. Pretty obvious that's what they're referring to since those QB's win the outright majority of Super Bowls.

He was responsible for leaving unnecessary time on the clock and completely abandoning the run when his team just needed him to run out the clock up 28-3
