In my opinion, there are 2 major obstacles that we have to overcome to get that 1 seed. They are:

Seattle beating Rams at Seattle. I also see this happening since the game is in Seattle.

CB Sauce Gardner also "suffered a calf strain against the Texans. Gardner will undergo more tests to determine how long he might miss"

I also believe that we have a very "realistic chance to get the #1 seed",... exciting weeks ahead,... it's wide open

DeForest Buckner headed for IR, will miss the game with us. That is huge.

But, WHY? It doesn't solve anything. One thing I can promise is that they will be back at the point where the 49ers stumble. Provided they do stumble. They may not. This could mean a Collective Heart Attack Incident for the Kyle Shanahan Hate Crew. Because, how can you hate on that?

1st off, we were in that game all the way till mid fourth quarter. Even after Warner went down midway in the first quarter, we were only down 4 points going into halftime

2nd, considering Mac threw 2 picks (one set up an easy TD for them) and we had 9 penalties to their 5... cut those in half (1 pick / 5 penalties), we probably tied in 4th qtr or winning

Imagine that... Niners lose their General on the field and Bethune gets thrown to the wolves. They should have clobbered us the way Lambs did in second game with us. They are (by far) not better than us dude

If we're both healthy in the playoffs, I like our chances a lot. We'll beat them even in TB. 49ers will rip teh heart right out of your chest

Packers will lose at least once to Chi, I'm taking that as a given

As things stand now the 49ers would get the Rams in the first round. If that is the case it's one and done and headed to Cancun.

If things change the teams 49ers can beat the Buccaneers, I can honestly see them upsetting the Bears, but all the other teams will hand them an L.

The 49ers and Kyle the choke artist Shanahan are not beating Seattle in Seattle, Green Bay in Green Bay or Philly in Philly.

If we end up tied, but the Rams lose to a non NFC West opponent, we would have the same divisional record and move to the 3rd tiebreaker which is record against common opponents. The Rams have the edge there.

I still don't trust our safeties.

I do see Mustapha make some sick plays to get around blockers for a tackle. But I just worry about our speed back there.. and just Brown in general.

If we had a true speedy free safety that can cover ground, and Mustapha playing box... I'd feel more comfortable.
