Using ESPN's playoff machine Playoff machine, it appears, to my reckoning, the Niners will need to win at least two more games to make the playoffs. Otherwise, the tie between GB and Dallas could freeze out the Niners. Although, many playoff teams face each other in the coming weeks, so anything can happen.

The Packers still having to play Chicago twice is kinda nuts.
Their schedule is Chicago, Denver, Chicago.

GB has less wins, and a tie, but we are 7th seed and they're 6th? Huh? We need to get Seattle or Tampa Bay first round…..how do we make this happen?

When a red hot Rams team losses to a team like the Panthers who the Niners beat last week 20-9 then nothing will surprise me the rest of the season.

Need to win two more. NFC is too stacked this year. So win two more just to be safe.
((I know I know. "We need to win FOUR more and get the #1 SEED!!!" baby steps for me lol))

One game at a time. We'll see how ready for the playoffs this team is with the Colts, Bears and Seahawks coming up. They need to win one of those and another next week to be in the hunt. Win next week and two of the three and I think they may go somewhere in the playoffs. Right now, it is just one game at a time.

As of right now we are a wild card. Both the Rams and Seahawks are ahead of us. Strangely we are just 1 game off the division now. With 8 - 4 and the Rams and Seahawks with 3 losses each. If we could get them to lose 1 or 2 more and keep winning we could honestly be in the division race again. If so our seeding would change real dramatically. Got to keep winning and the Seahawks and Rams lose. Rams loss today helps that a lot. Seahawks look pretty good though.

f*ck this!!!
we're not the players, we are fans,... and we can fantasize as much as we want,.. even more after a huge win
if we win all of our 4 remaining games (something I see really doable) and the Lambs lose another game, we are first seeded,... and play all the playoff games at home,.... and the SB

Lambs still have to play Detroit... if they could lose to Carolina, they could definitely lose to Detroit.

During our bye week next week, we automatically will move into the 6th seed because of this game:
Chicago at Green Bay
We will move past whomever loses. We have a better conference record than Chicago so we would win that tiebreaker.
In our division, we will move into first place if the following happens and into the 2nd seed:
Seattle loses at Atlanta
Rams lose at AZ
If just one of those teams lose (Rams or Seattle), we will move into the 5th seed because we have the tiebreaker.

The Lions/Cowboys game loser will also be very unlikely to get a wildcard spot.

man, it's a lot more easy than that:
if the 9ers win the 4 remaining games and the Lambs lose one game, we are first seeded. Period.
they almost, almost depend only on themshelves,... just need one more Lambs' loss

Seattle OR Detroit could make that happen….
