Will Brock make a big difference in the play of this offense?

If completely healthy... a little I guess by his ability to get away from sacks

He truly won't. Mac is playing excellent. Does Brock's mobility count for a win today? No. The defense was awful

TBH I don't mind Jones playing out the season, but if Shanny decides he's healthy and full go, then he'll do exactly what he did in Hennessy situation by letting Brenda play

All playing Jones does is potentially reduce his trade value

It's not on Jed at all. He's given full power to Kyle and John. Jed should have 2 rings right now, but Kyle couldn't get the job done when he was winning by 2 scores with just minutes left in 2 Super Bowls.

Jed's the guy that said he wanted to reduce cash outlay this offseason

Jed's also the guy that just gave out the biggest contract in franchise history too Purdy. You guys are out of your mind if you are trying to put this on Jed or calling him cheap

I didn't call him cheap I said heis deliberately not spending as much as he could to put the best product on the field. That's not a controversial statement, they were talking about it all offseason.

Are you conviently leaving out the main reason why; which was also talked about all offseason??? Purdys contract

Fine with me

As long as I know we have a legit / competent QB on the bench just incase, I'll be happy

You want a scrub on the bench waiting in the wings... knowing BP is injury prone

Secondly, it's football and any team can win. Look at the Bills today. Kyle took a laughing stock franchise and turned it into a winning organization that is constantly competing for division titles, NFCC and going to SBs.

Wahh cry me a river we haven't won it all. There's a million different directions we can go to say who's responsible for a win or loss. We've beaten it to death, winning ONE more game doesn't turn a trash coach into a good one and that's what you're trying to sell….It's the laziest/dumbest talking point in here about Kyle

Sweet….please do me a favor…..post a list of the coaches that lost Super Bowls when leading by 2 scores with just mins remaining in the 4th quarter.

You're talking about "one game"….. if Kyle is a 2 time champion no one is saying anything about him losing "one game" or even losing 10 games a year.

Why do they play these games and ruin their bodies? Just say so they can say ahhhhh shucks maybe next year? Go ask every player in that locker room if they have found moral victories in losses, especially the ones that missed out on their place in history.

It's great that you're content with losing, not many players, coaches or owners share that with you though.

Cut it out Shanny, you're the biggest lying b***h in history

Hes not coming back this year unless Mac gets hurt

There is little upside to bring him back. Mac is playing well enough. The teams issues arnt at QB.

Playing well enough for what? We lost today and he threw 2 interceptions. We're currently out of the playoffs if the season ended today. Playing well enough for what? Getting us a higher draft pick?

You think Purdy playing today changes the outcome? Purdy is a little improvement over Mac if he isnt 100% healthy. In reality Purdy will probably never be 100% healthy this season.

Mac had over 300 yards and 3 TDs. Go visit the D and report back.

It isn't that impressive putting up a bunch of meaningless yards and TDs against prevent defense when the game was already out of hand due to the offense doing nothing for most of the first half.
To be in the playoffs after next week, we need:

1. To beat AZ
2. Bears to lose at Vikings or Detroit loses at Philly

The game was over by the end of the 1st Quarter.

This is simply not true.

lol, Lombardi is being silly. I don't care how many garbage time points or meaningless yards they put up, they cost us the game by turning it over so often. The defense did a respectable job considering the injuries and the position the offense put them in.

Yea agreed, garbage post, purdy would have throw 3 picks today, he a downgrade from jones, this teams number 1 problem is personal decisions and that's big john lynch f**king that up giving out s**t contracts and drafting s**t players
you're on fire today.

Yea it would have been foolish to spend any more after we paid Purdy. Purdy got paid to be Tom Brady like and to carry an average to good roster to the promised land. He has only had 2 starts through 10 games this year. That is the problem along with major injuries everywhere and especially 2 of our best in the world defensive players and leaders. The 2 contracts I am hesitant about right now are the ones for Purdy and Aiyuk but time will tell

It was a game in the 3rd quarter for sure. The guys fought valiantly but defensively we could not stop a nosebleed
Wasting three first round draft picks on a QB that's not on the roster set the trenches back strategically. We are now seeing this in the tactical sense. Our line play is horrible. Even if Bosa was healthy he'd be mitigated by double teams and of course the Oline is a turnstile. The RT, center and LG are extreme liabilities to the health of QB and success of the team. The offense has to carry the defense now and today was an example that it can't. The totally blew the future a couple years back and it's coming to fruition now.

For the rest of this season you play Brock and have Mac on the bench, and hopefully he doesn't need to take any more meaningful snaps. In the offseason you trade Mac and Kyle brings in the next reclamation project.

I might be mistaken but I think they can control the path as long as they don't lose more than two more games. If they have 10 wins by the time they face the cawks (last game), a win vs them might be deciding factor on wildcard. I have us losing at Browns and Colts, we never win there even with good teams vs mediocre ones... at Tards next week, Panthers Titans and Bears (at home) should all be wins
