I know we asked for him before when talking trades.

I'd do a blockbuster for Quinnen Williams and Will McDonald. And If somehow we could unload Brandon Aiuyk to them too that would be icing on the cake.

2026 2nd and 4th
2027 2nd and 5th
Brandon Aiuyk

For

Quinnen Williams
Will McDonald

I'd even be tempted to throw a 1st and 3rd their way for those guys.

DE- Will McDonald / Sam O
DT- Quinnen Williams
DT- Alfred Collins
DE- Bryce Huff / Mykel Williams

Thats a nasty Dline

I appreciate the thought process on all this, but let's keep the trade scenarios realistic. No one is trading for BA (or considering it worth anything) and SF isn't tossing multiple 2nds.

Not even looking up what Williams' contract is, but trading Aiyuk right now losses the 49ers cap room in 2026 like $14M, this isn't happening, no big deals are gonna happen, nor should they trade away that amount of draft picks plus 2026 cap room, not happening, not sure why people don't research this stuff before making trade suggestions.

Yeah I don't see BA being moved, folks need to accept that. Williams from what I read doesn't have any GTD cash left after this season and imo will want a new deal. I'll always been down for a stud DT, but that's not really helping what really is a need.

we need edge help more than anything, this DE room is not good and something has to be done to make it all work this yr (and for the future).
I'm in for Will McDonald IV from the Jets. Saleh knows him & we will have him under contract at very reasonable $$$ along with Bosa & Huff next year

No way in hell I'm trading any 1sts when that 1st needs to be locked and targeted for Trent's eventual replacement. No more trading away 1sts

That or a 2nd to be honest. I could swallow making conditional 2nd (or if we reach nfccg or something), but we need to restock ol
I want a receiver because Pearsall can't stay healthy and no one knows when Aiyuk is coming back and even if he comes back soon there's no guarantees that he will be good this season

Think next week will be a very busy trade week.
I'd be happy with Arden Key.

I don't see us going after a DT with the flashes Collins and West have showed and the noticeable boost we got after Givens returned.

Our IDL is not superstar level but IMO actually looks quite promising for the future.

Collins has got better every week but is West even playing? He played 9 snaps last week. Givens is a nice rotational player but he is not a difference maker.

We could definitely use an interior presence which will free up our edge guys.

Snaps vs ATL

Alfred Collins - 39
Kalia Davis - 23
Jordan Elliot - 21
Kevin Givens - 20
CJ West - 9

Mykel Williams saw a significant number of snaps on the interior so someone will have to replace Bryce Huff's 45 snaps on the edge. All we have left is Robert Beal and Travis Gipson

Bryce Huff - 45
Sam Okuayinonu - 44
Mykel Williams - 42
Yesterday's Schefter report pretty much kills any possibility of a Jeffrey Simmons trade, right?

If we want a DT in a blockbuster trade that pretty much leaves Quinnen Williams, no?

CJ West isn't even active today
This team ain't winning the Super Bowl. Not with the O-line issues and linebacker play, etc.

No pass rush but for the sake of guys putting their bodies on the line. They need a pass rusher!
