Texans looked pretty bad yesterday, but ALL teams seem to play their best when they play us.

Feeling positive going into this one, a bit of a shorter week for Texans after Seattle beat them down some. Stroud a bit shaky lately, was obviously up against a great Seattle D this last time but nonetheless, I feel like Saleh and our D could feast a bit on this one.
With our run game as good as it was on Sunday, there were less hits on Mac, so he should be a bit healthier coming in. Any word on Pearsall, for crying out loud? Lol. In any case, apparently, we have 2023 CMC back in action. That alone is worth being pretty excited about.

I don't know if I'll ever feel confident going into any game this season with the injuries we have.
Lots of people down on Houston after last night but I still worry that we're the perfect opponent for them - still banged up on offense and they have a great defense playing at home. Meanwhile we have our top 3 pass rushers out for this game and lack of pass rush is a great recipe for rebound for a QB and offense struggling.
We also tend to have let down games after emotional prime time wins. Hoping that's not the case this time and we find a way to get a win on the road and keep the momentum going. Rest of the NFC West is on a bye this week...gotta make sure their fans don't get to enjoy the rest and watch us lose at the same time.

Well thanks for throwing ice on my fire lol jk. It's realistic though, we are still a banged up team but what we have been able to do despite that has been great to see so far.

Sorry lol. I'm usually a pretty optimistic fan but this year I honestly just don't know with the injuries we have. I can see us winning any game and can see us losing any game. Every time I get excited about this team again they come back down to earth. Just really hard to play good defense with no pass rush.

That Houston defense is pretty good. They made the MVP Sam Darnold look mortal last night.
I also don't think our defense is likely going to have as much success pressuring Stroud as the Seahawks did considering our injuries.

Didn't Nico Collins leave the game with a concussion? He might not even play next Sunday

Plus demeco vs kyle going against each other is a lot of pride for both of those guys

One thing Seattle did to Stroud was not let him get comfortable in the pocket. Can the 49ers do that without Huff? Can they make a frickin trade already!!!
