We don't. We need Kittle, Pearsall, Purdy, Jennings, and Aiyuk all healthy

No, I'm not talking about the current Deebo on the Commanders. We need a in his prime Deebo. Plus a healthy CMC. With those two the offense is unpredictable. But with one gone, everyone knows what the offense is gonna do. The O line is too weak to run a predictable offense. I was hoping Jordan Watkins could help fill that role, but it doesn't look like that's gonna work out.

The Oline is too weak to have a run game ATM. Pearsal is not doing a bad job but in a different way than Deebo. Deebo was a power house in his day but I think it was a good idea to move him on as he is in decline and his brilliant moments are becoming less and less. CMC has the versatility but will get warn out and predictable as Shanny gets less creative with him. I suppose we just have to get lucky with our draft picks. WR and running backs wear out quickly.
I think most of all we have to work on improving the Oline and will need a replacement for Williams sooner rather than later.
This team missed it's window. The most dominant on defense was the 2019 version with Jimmy G. Who got carried there by the defense. Offensively we were a little better on the 2023 version. But defense even then I don't think was the same. Anyway we keep running into Mahomes, Reid, Kelce and Chris Jones. So it never works out. We were close yet strangely far. Honestly flawed teams in some ways. Especially in 2023 I just don't think that defense was what you need to win and stop Mahomes. The first one was. But we had Jimmy G who couldn't throw down the field and that was costly. In addition to spotty offensive line both years. The drop off to now is light years difference. We are not in the same category as those teams and those believing that are acting delusional.

We lack the depth ATM. A couple of injuries and we plumet down the rankings. Back then we had the depth to take a few injuries. Our biggest problem then was no back up QB. Mullens was the best of a bad lot and he was pretty lame.
Execution.
Kittle. That is #1. He was prime Deebo before Deebo and still is.
Well Prime Deebo was a nominee for OPOTY so yeah we could totally use that

Prime Deebo wouldn't really help when he'd probably be on the sideline like everybody else.

People are making this more than it is. Its all about health. That's really it. No team can handle half their starting offense being hurt (including their starting QB) along with their most impactful player on defense. Its pretty simple. Backups can't beat starters.
It's hard to play football without an O-line that can consistently and reliably keep the run game viable. Skills players aren't a substitute for that.

Agreed.
It misses a running game.

IE Kittle and some outside blocking.
We're missing Kittle. Both in his contributions to the run game and the passing.

Though 2021 Deebo would certainly be a welcome addition to any team…especially tonight.
