The key to me is the Niners must finish in the red zone, something they are really struggling with. If they do that, convert their red zone opportunities into touchdowns I think they win this. If not, then I think the Rams pull off the win.

Lynch behind the tea leaf comments sure sounds Brock will not play. He stated Mac should be ready to go if required and Brock toe is causing pain. I don't think they chance it. With their luck could be disastrous. It doesn't sound Ricky will be either to me.

Man, you wait all off season and this one seemed it took forever an then this season is really off to one crappy start injury wise.

Where did you get the idea that the Rams D isn't tha tgreat. They're ranked 3rd currently in yards per game and passing D. They have a young elite pass rusher.

Simple. Their cbs are not good, neither are their safeties, neither are their lbs. Also, their pass rush is very good but their run D is not.

The colts embarrassed them only to gift them the game. Alec Pierce was out too

Mac with one leg or Brock with one foot, pick one.

This...WR corps is trash
The Rams are 5th behind the Niners who are 4th in overall defensive ranking but the Rams are 14th in scoring defense and 18th in Redzone defense. Fox has them ranked 6th in passing defense, behind the Niners and 13th in running defense LINK So again, to me the key is can the Niners take advantage of the red zone opportunities they get and score touchdowns and can they run the ball to keep the Rams off the field and give their defense a break. Thus the key just may be the Niners Oline and their ability to pass protect and open holes for the run . . . something they haven't been great at but hopefully can improve and can Mac get rid of the ball.

Key for me is getting the run game going and scoring TD's in the red zone. If the Niners don't do that, I expect a Ram victory. Rams are 21st in red zone conversion and the Niners are 27th. Both teams do well in passing, Niners are #2 and the Rams are #3. Niners are allowing 16.3 points per game and the Rams are allowing 20.3 points per game; Niners are #2 in points per game and the Rams are 14th. So key again, is can the Niners get into the end zone and if they do, I expect that they will be able to win this game. Running effectively will keep the defense off the field and burn clock and that should also open up the pass game even more. Let's see if the Niners can bring it all together.

Run D is as good or better than ther Niners. The Rams have played the Eagles and the Colts. Both are probably going to win their divisions this year.
Boy it really makes you wonder if fans watch football. The Rams are tough son of a b***h team. We have our hands full with current injuries.

Their defense is a lot better. We may be more sound but the Rams have the speed and DL to really make things difficult. May be a good time to get our screen game going. We've been pretty successful with it so far.
Let's come out swinging and see wtf happens lol

The 49ers haven't been playing teams with great offenses. The best team they've faced is the Jags and it's their D that makes them good. That and one good RB.

Saleh might be able to work a miracle to pull off a close win, maybe something like 16-13. It happens, but I'm not counting on it.

The good news is, we already have two divisional wins in the bag. That is huge. Let's not forget it. That means we can lose this one and beat them the next time and we are in good shape. If we get healthy, we can still make a run with this schedule.

I agree I said it before the Jags game. That was my biggest concern with losing Nick. We don't have the juice to pressure these top flight QBs.

I'm hoping they can adjust as the season progresses to ot having Bosa. Let's give them a little time to see if anyone can step up or if sales can change things up a little. They aren't the first team to lose their best edge rusher.
I think our dline can handle the rams running game and pressure Stafford a bit, defensive backfield will need to come up big stopping their WRs
No QB hits or sacks-what could go wrong?
