We gave a poverty Franchise like the Jags hope. Now they think they're actually good

They beat a team that hasn't won a SB since they've existed. I don't think this is the motivation you think it is.

Jags have never won anything. Case close

They have as many championships since 1995 as we do. Can't hold not existing for not winning before then. It's like complaining that the Niners couldn't win championships in the 1930s.

This is depressing.

Going to get crushed by the rams on Thursday…

With no pass rush, Stafford is gonna pick us apart with Nacua and Adams

It's going to be ritual sodomy on the field in front of the world on Thursday night.

McVay is going to clap Kyles cheeks live in front of America.

Mark Brunell was like a poor man's Steve Young.

Both franchises willingly employed Trent Baalke.

Many similarities, lol.

One good thing I can say is that normally when you have this many game breaking mistakes, the score normally looks like 42-6.
Yeah, imagine what the score would have been if this had been the Chiefs or Bills kicking the 49ers' butts up and down the field. It would have been hide the women and children while the men empty their liquor cabinets.

The offensive line is still lousy and Trent Williams looks washed. The special teams are still atrocious. There's zero pass rush without Bosa (and there wasn't much of one with him), Purdy looked rusty and just plain off, Shanahan had no answers, and neither did Saleh.

So now that we see what the Niners are like without Bosa, its time for John Lynch to work the phones and make a trade to bring someone in who can rush the passer. Our secondary has been pretty sus before Bosa went down, and without any sort of pass rush, they can't hang with the greyhounds playing in the NFL on any given Sunday.

If the Niners can hang with the Rams the way the Colts did, they can win. If they don't, they're going to drop their second game in less than a week.

Just facts.

I'd say the 49ers have 3 more Conference Championships than the Jaguars do in that time, but I bet that's gonna be even more upsetting to some "We only count SBs!!!" types.

Under the Trent Baalke umbrella - check.
Fred Warner setting the record with 17 forced fumbles and it not being recovered says it all about this game

True.

This all falls on play calls, Purdy and the Drops/fumbles. And still almost was able to do it. Early in season. Defense wasn't horrible despite being on the field for so long. Purdy just didn't help us out. Between all that, Pearl getting hurt. Warner dropping picks. Crazy.
Wait so we're not gonna go undefeated?

We're 3-1 like some poverty franchise.

Only if we lose the next two games. If we win them, we'll be 5-1.
